Treasure Tumble Slot RTP, Details & Wager Limits
The Treasure Tumble slot game takes place on an 8×8 grid and uses a cluster pays system instead of traditional paylines, like many online slots. You win by landing 5 or more identical symbols connected horizontally or vertically anywhere on the grid. When a cluster forms, the game pays the win, removes those symbols, and clears any other that match already on the reels (without increasing the payout). The empty spaces are filled as symbols drop down and new ones fall from the top, triggering the tumble feature and giving you the chance to land additional wins from the same spin.
Use the “+” and “–” controls to adjust your stake, with options ranging from 20p to £100. I’d say such a range lines up quite well with some of the best online slots.
Activate auto spin to let the game play automatically for 10 rounds or more, with win and loss caps available. However, you could only do that if you’re playing at non-UK Treasure Tumble casinos. In that case, you may also switch on quick spin to shorten the spin time. When enabled, the arrow icons turn green, and a second tap turns them off.
The Treasure Tumble RTP of 96.1% stands just above the average rate for new slots. And with the high volatility involved here, I noticed long, quieter stretches between wins. That said, once a strong cluster dropped in while I was trying out the Treasure Tumble demo, the rewards tended to be bigger.
Speaking of, the back-to-back tumbles are what made the base game interesting. But if you’re aiming for the full Treasure Tumble max win of 10,000x your stake, I believe the bonus rounds are where the real opportunity lies.
Treasure Tumble Theme—Deep Sea Pirate Relic Hunt
Visually, Treasure Tumble reveals a shadowy seabed beneath the waves. All reels lay inside a heavy stone grid wedged into the remains of a wrecked structure, framed by seaweed, chains, and broken masonry. On the side, also drifting through the dark, murky water, you’ll find a geared-up diver. Everything echoes real-world discoveries like the famous Spanish galleon found off Colombia’s coast, believed to have carried vast amounts of gold, silver, and emeralds.
I also love all of the little details, including the filtered light cutting through the water and the fact that everything is coated in age and decay. That said, if you’ve seen earlier releases in the same Tumble line, the look may feel very familiar. That’s especially true when considering that this underwater ruin concept closely mirrors what was already presented in Treasure Tumble Dream Drop.
As for the audio, it features a slow and echoing choral hum in the background. Alongside it are subtle environmental touches, including faint bubbling sounds and muffled thuds as the blocks drop into place.
As you expect from many free slots, at the lower end of the paytable, you’ve got the standard card royals from 10 through to Ace. Here, they’ve been carved into worn stone tiles to match the submerged ruin setting. A step above those lie the coloured gemstone symbols, cut and polished as if recovered from a long-lost cargo hold. At the top of the paytable is the pirate skull emblem, framed in gold and clearly the most valuable regular icon on the grid. Supporting the set is the Wild, which steps in to complete clusters, and the bonus symbol that unlocks the Galleon feature.
Here’s what each one pays at UK online casinos:

Blue Triangle | 5 to 10+ = 0.2 to 0.5x the stake |
Green Diamond | 5 to 10+ = 0.2 to 0.5x the stake |
Red Hex | 5 to 10+ = 0.2 to 0.5x the stake |

Treasure Tumble Mobile Slot
I tried out Treasure Tumble on both my iPad and Android phone at mobile casinos. As you’d probably expect from a Relax Gaming title built on HTML5, I didn’t run into any slowdowns at all. The underwater backdrop and stone grid scale down quite neatly to smaller screens, and all of the symbols retain their quality. Plus, the interface has no trouble responding to taps, keeping stake selection and gameplay fluid.
On a larger display, though, the atmosphere has a greater impact, especially with the darker seabed visuals. In portrait mode, the reels shift upward with the controls stacked below. Meanwhile, when turned sideways, the display mirrors the desktop arrangement, keeping the grid central while navigation tools sit around it.
Treasure Tumble Bonus Features
The bonus features in Treasure Tumble are layered and progressive. They’re based on clearing blockers while building position multipliers and unlocking two versions of the Galleon Bonus. As you move from the base game into the standard or Super feature, mechanics expand, and multipliers persist. Special Wild variants come into play, too.
Cluster Pays
As mentioned earlier, when you form a winning cluster, those symbols are removed, and the remaining ones drop down, with new tiles falling in from above. Any matching symbols connected to that cluster are also cleared, even if they didn’t increase the payout.
What I haven’t pointed out yet is that after each win, multipliers appear in the positions where symbols were removed. If another win lands in the same spot during the same spin sequence, that position multiplier doubles. They begin at 1x, can climb as high as 1,024x, and stack together within the same win to boost the final payout.
Base Game Blocker Feature Symbols
- Radial Bomb – When you destroy a blocker containing a Radial Bomb, it wipes out all adjacent blockers touching that tile.
- Vertical Bomb – Clearing a blocker with this feature removes every blocker in the same reel.
- Mega Bomb – Breaking this blocker destroys all remaining blockers on the grid and can trigger the Galleon or Super Galleon Bonus once tumbles finish.
- Wild Blast – When activated, it sends a random number of Wilds onto available positions on the grid.
- Symbol Trade – This converts the least frequent symbol currently on the reels into another symbol.
- Tumble Wild – These are released from blockers and begin with a 1x or 2x multiplier. As they drop during tumbles, if they land on positions that already have multipliers, their value is increased by that amount. With each new tumble, their multiplier can grow further.
Note that if you create a cluster next to a blocker, it gets destroyed, opening extra space on the grid. Clearing surrounding matching symbols can also increase multipliers in those positions, and if those symbols sit beside blockers, those blockers disappear as well. This gradually expands the grid and creates more room for bigger chains and higher combined multipliers.
Compass Wild
If a bonus begins through scatter activation, bonus symbols can turn into Compass Wilds that stay active during the feature. You can have up to 3 at once, and they move position with each spin or tumble.
More specifically, these move one space at a time up, down, left, or right into an adjacent empty tile, shifting between tumbles, after being used in a win, or at the start of a new spin. They don’t have their own multiplier and instead take on those belonging to the position they move into. Also, once created, they remain active for the rest of the bonus.
Galleon Bonus
You can trigger the Galleon Bonus by landing 3 scatters, clearing all blockers, or activating the Mega Bomb. Once inside, you’re awarded 8 free spins, and the grid is completely cleared of blockers.
Bonus symbols that appear during the round grant 3 extra spins each and may convert into Compass Wilds, which stay active during the feature.
Super Galleon Bonus
If the reel frame turns gold when the bonus triggers, you enter the Super Galleon Bonus. Any position multipliers already active on the grid carry over and do not reset, giving you a stronger starting point.
During this upgraded round, landing Bonus symbols adds 3 extra spins and gives another chance to convert them into Compass Wilds.
Upgrade Spins & Feature Buys (Not Available at UK Online Casinos)
Beyond the standard gameplay, Treasure Tumble includes optional features that let you tweak how the bonus is approached.
- Enhanced Spins – Increases the likelihood of Bonus symbols landing, improving your chances of entering the Galleon or Super Galleon Bonus for a cost of 2x the bet.
- Galleon Spins – Lets you choose a starting position multiplier of 16x, 32x, 64x, and 128x, with multipliers doubling after every win during the feature. The cost involved is 30x, 60x, 120x, or 240x the bet, respectively.
- Bonus Reels – Removes regular paying symbols from the grid for 10x the bet. This boosts the probability of landing 3 Bonus symbols to trigger the Galleon or Super Galleon Bonus.
The Buy Feature is only available in the base game and guarantees instant entry into the selected bonus by awarding 3 scatters. The standard Galleon Bonus costs 100x your bet, while the Super Galleon Bonus costs 350x, and both versions carry a theoretical RTP of 96.5%.
Treasure Tumble Verdict: Cluster Chains and Super Galleon Potential
I spent a good chunk of time testing Treasure Tumble, and while it doesn’t reinvent the Tumble formula, it leans heavily into its position multiplier system and sticks to it. The 8×8 cluster pays grid, blockers, and cascading clears are familiar territory, but then, you’ve got multipliers that double in the same spots up to 1,024x.
The base game can feel restrained, especially with the high volatility, and you’ll notice stretches where the grid resets without much progress. Everything, in truth, points toward the Galleon and especially the Super Galleon Bonus. It’s where multipliers carry over, and Compass Wilds start moving. Plus, the 10,000x ceiling becomes a lot more realistic. The underwater theme closely mirrors earlier entries, so visually it may not surprise you. Still, if you’re comfortable riding variance, this one earns its place.
