Dead By Noon™ Slot RTP, Details, Wager Limits
In the Dead By Noon™ slot, you’ll play on a 5×4 gaming area with 14 paylines. Winners form in the usual way: land 3, 4, or 5 matching symbols on a payline starting from reel 1.
Bet levels accommodate all budgets, from 10p up to £100 per spin. But remember, bets can’t exceed £5 at UK online casinos. Also, autoplay, turbo, and super turbo modes are disabled for UK players.
The top Dead By Noon™ RTP is 96.27%, while some operators offer variants as low as 86.28%. If you’re looking for higher returns, you might want to explore our lineup of high RTP slots.
Hacksaw Gaming rates the Western adventure as highly volatile (5/5), which suits the game’s title. It means your bankroll could take big hits, but if you’re patient enough, there’s the potential for big payouts. The high risk is paired with a Dead By Noon™ max win of 10,000x the bet.
My biggest win while playing the Dead By Noon™ demo was 144x the bet. It came in the base game with the help of a 7x multiplier on the first reel’s chamber. The demo is available alongside a myriad of free online slots on our site.
Dead By Noon™ Theme—Resisting the Bandit Is a Terrible Idea
At this point, it’s fair to conclude that the creatives at Hacksaw Gaming have a soft spot for the Wild West and gunslinging outlaws. I like that new releases never feel like a reheated dish.
Not every player might agree that Dead By Noon™ feels visually fresh, though, as the outlaw standing beside the grid first appeared in Duel at Dawn™. He still has a cigarette in his mouth and a revolver in your face, although the setting is different.
The scene looks deserted, with giant red rock formations and empty buildings – exactly the right place to get away with murder. I like that the painting-style design doesn’t make the atmosphere less brutal, just like in Bullets and Bounty.
Additionally, the soundtrack pairs gritty guitar rhythm with heavy drums. It sounds modern and complements the game’s tense tone.
Here’s what the paytable looks like at Dead By Noon™ casinos:
| Symbols | Info/Payout |
|---|---|
Club | 3, 4, or 5 = 0.1, 0.3, or 1x the stake |
Diamond | 3, 4, or 5 = 0.1, 0.3, or 1x the stake |
Spade | 3, 4, or 5 = 0.1, 0.3, or 1x the stake |
Heart | 3, 4, or 5 = 0.1, 0.3, or 1x the stake |
Wagon Wheel | 3, 4, or 5 = 0.3, 1, or 2x the stake |
Buffalo Skull | 3, 4, or 5 = 0.3, 1, or 2x the stake |
Cowboy Hat | 3, 4, or 5 = 0.5, 1.5, or 3x the stake |
Revolvers | 3, 4, or 5 = 0.5, 1.5, or 3x the stake |
Sheriff’s Badge | 3, 4, or 5 = 1, 2.5, or 5x the stake |
Wild | 5 = 5x the stake; substitutes for regular paying symbols |
Scatter | Triggers the bonus round |
Dead By Noon™ Mobile Slot
Personally, I preferred playing the Dead By Noon™ mobile slot in portrait mode, which is quite unusual for me. The grid looks bolder, and although the bandit has been moved below it, he maintains his cold look.
However, the control panel looks so small at the bottom of the screen in portrait mode that it’s easy to overlook. Like most new online slots, landscape mode also holds up well, offering a broader view of the deserted scene.
Dead By Noon™ Bonus Features
In terms of bonus features, Dead By Noon™ might not stack up against top casino online slots, but its offerings are decent enough. You’ll find Row Cascades, Multiplier Chambers, and a pair of bonus rounds.
Row Cascades
The Row Cascades works a bit differently from the familiar cascading reel mechanic found in Megaways slots and many grid titles. After every win, all symbols move down one position, and a new set of symbols appears on the top row.
This means the same winning combination can produce multiple wins, depending on its position on the initial spin.
Multiplier Chamber
Each reel has a blank field above it, called a Multiplier Chamber. Whenever a Poker Chip symbol appears on a winning spin, or would be part of a win, the corresponding chamber activates.
The activated chamber reveals a random multiplier value between 1x and 9x, and the poker symbol transforms into a wild. If a poker symbol lands on a reel with an inactive chamber, it activates the corresponding chamber. As such, multiple chambers can be active simultaneously.
This is where it gets interesting: wins are multiplied by the combined values of consecutive multipliers from left to right. For instance, if the first three reels have multiplier chambers of 1x, 4x, and 8x, they form a 148x multiplier.
The downside to this pattern is that if a lone chamber between reels 2 and 5 is activated, its multiplier value won’t apply to wins.
Draw or Die Bonus Game
The Draw or Die bonus game triggers when you land 3 scatters during the base game. You are awarded 8 free spins. The only major addition is a higher chance of landing Poker Chip symbols.
No Aim, No Fame
Landing 4 scatters activates the No Aim, No Fame round, and you’re awarded 10 free spins. This time, at least 1 Poker Chip symbol is guaranteed to land on every spin.
Furthermore, in both bonus modes, landing 2 or 3 scatters triggers 2 or 4 additional free spins, respectively.
High-Roller Featurespins (Unavailable in the UK)
The High-Roller Featurespins mode is for players who are ready to risk it all for the max win. It costs 1,000x the bet, and each spin has a 10.39 chance of hitting the top prize. On each spin, at least 1 Wanted Poster symbol appears on every reel, after which you’re awarded 6 shots.
If a shot lands on a Wanted Poster symbol on each reel, you’ll receive the game’s max win of 10,000x the bet.
Buy Bonus (Unavailable in the UK)
You can skip the hassle and buy your way into the bonus round by triggering the Buy Bonus options. Here is what they guarantee:
- 3x the bet = 5x more chances to trigger a bonus game
- 50x the bet = Poker Chip symbol lands on each spin
- 80x the bet: Triggers the Draw or Die bonus game
- 200x the bet: Triggers the No Aim, No Fame bonus game
Dead By Noon™ Verdict: Multiplier Chambers Aren’t as Exciting as Expected
Dead By Noon™ is a highly volatile Old West experience with a multiplier mechanic and crisp oil-painting designs. However, I didn’t quite feel Hacksaw Gaming’s Midas touch in the gameplay.
Few slot providers can boast Hacksaw’s huge Old West catalogue. Wanted Dead or a Wild should ring a bell if you’ve been around the block for a while, and Dead By Noon™ follows the same intriguing oil-paint art style.
On the technical front, the game also fares well. The Row Cascades mechanic, seen in Smoking Dragons, is at the core of the gameplay, creating multiple chances to win on a spin. However, the symbol payout values are rather underwhelming, so even a chain of cascades may not result in convincing payouts.
I like the introduction of the Multiplier Chamber. It’s a game-changer, particularly if you’re lucky enough to activate consecutive chambers starting from the leftmost reel. That said, what puts me off is that a lone multiplier can’t be applied to wins unless it’s on reel 1.
Overall, Dead By Noon™ is decent enough, but I’ve seen Hacksaw deliver more exciting slots.
