Bonus Re-spins
Trigger the feature by landing 6 or more Crown scatters anywhere on the reels on the same spin. The scatters lock in position, and the rest of the reels are cleared. You’ll then receive 3 re-spins on reels made up of blanks and prize symbols. The prize symbols are scatters, knights, Goblin, Minotaur, Troll and Dragon symbols. So far, so standard. This is where it gets a bit complicated.
The monster and scatter symbols each display a prize. This can be a bonus or a non-bonus. The monsters also come with a life value. The Dragon starts at 4, Minotaur 3, Troll 2 and Goblin 1.
One knight can land on any spin where a Monster lands. The Knight’s value is determined by the prize values attached to all the live Monsters that are active on that spin.
The life values attached the the Monsters decrease by 1 each time a Knight appears. If a new prize symbol lands, it locks in place, and the re-spins reset to 3.
The rounds end when you run out of re-spins or you’ve filled the whole grid with prize symbols. All the prizes are added together and paid out.
There are 4 possible jackpot prizes:
- Mini = 10x the stake
- Minor = 50x the stake
- Major = 250x the stake
- Grand = 2,000x the stake
It’s possible to land the Major and Grand prizes once. The Mini and Minor can hit multiple times.
The Monster and scatter prizes range from 1x and 100x.
Castle Cash 10K Ways® Verdict: This Battle Between Knights and Monsters Delivers Some Cracking Action
You might think that a slot that offers just a single bonus feature would be a bit on the dull side. I found Castle Cash 10K Ways® to be anything but.
The 10,000 ways to win and exploding symbols keep the base game moving nicely. It’s the Bonus Re-spins where this medieval adventure can really start to roll, though. Yes, it’s a bit more complicated than the standard hold and re-spin feature. It adds extra layers to the gameplay, though. On the other hand, I was pretty disappointed with the max win.
However, if you enjoyed the Castle Cash Megaways slot, you’ll find plenty to enjoy in this 10k version.
