Shinobi Bonus feature

The main attraction is the Shinobi Bonus feature which is activated when you land 3, 4 or 5 Mask Scatter symbols anywhere during a base game spin. 4 or 5 scatters will pay 20 or 100 x bet respectively.

Shinobi symbols can land on the edges of the grid with corner positions excluded. Always facing inwards, Shinobi symbols will slash all symbols in the direction it faces. When this happens, an extra life is awarded, up to a maximum of 3. Bamboo Prize values double for each additional slash.

Once the slashing ends, the spin ends and each Bamboo Prize symbol that has been slashed will be removed from the grid and paid out.

With each Shinobi symbol beginning with 3 lives, 1 life is lost per spin. When a symbol is slashed, the Shinobi gains a life, up to 3. When all lives are lost, the Shinobi is removed from the grid. The feature ends when no more Shinobi symbols appear on the grid.

Look out for the rare Golden Shinobi symbol which has a maximum life of 6 instead of 3. When the Golden Shinobi slashes a Bamboo Prize symbol, the value of that symbol is added to all other Bamboo Prize symbols which haven’t been slashed already.

Furthermore, there are various Event symbols that can appear on the grid. When a Shinobi slashes an Event symbol, a special event occurs:

Sword	Any Bamboo Prize symbol slashed by the Shinobi is slashed twice. This occurs for as long as the Shinobi is present on the grid.

At the end of any spin, Bamboo Prize symbols can merge. This will remove all Bamboo Prize symbols except one. The sum of all Bamboo Prize symbols will be added to the one remaining Bamboo Prize symbol.
