The theme here is superb, with Nolimit City taking you back to 1999 when the Nokia 3210 was released. We’re pretty sure that’s the phone you see on the screen. I love the retro look and I love the audio that comes with it. The classic ringtone, the person ‘singing’, the music. It’s fantastic and takes me right back to when I was growing up with these phones. The younger generation might not appreciate the theme as much, though.

The visuals are brilliant and the bonus feature is the provider’s take on the classic game Snake that was the game to play back in the day. It was addictive and great fun. I think they probably had to call it Snek instead of Snake for legal reasons. I can’t see why they wouldn’t call it Snake otherwise. Anyway, the whole makeup of the slot works and it’s been brilliantly put together.

Snek Spins

Land 3 or 4 Scatters to trigger this bonus feature. The Scatters will turn into Sneks. It looks like chaos on the screen at first but it’s organised chaos. Egg	If a Snek eats an egg, a new Snek will start moving from the tail position of the Snek that eats the egg. A maximum of 3 Sneks can be rpesent at any one time.
Slayer	These are Sticky. There can be up to 4 of them on the grid at the same time. If a Snek eats one of these symbols, it will die and won't appear for the next spin.
Upgrade	If a Snek eats one of these, the bonus feature will be upgraded to Super Snek Spins at the end of the current round.
Max Win	The max win of 8,100 x bet is won if the Snek eats a Max Win symbol. If it's not eaten, it will disappear from the grid after 4 Snek steps.

Super Snek Spins

Land 5 Scatters in the base game to trigger this bonus feature. The 3rd and 4th Scatters will convert to Sneks. This plays out in the same way as the normal Snek Spins feature with the addition of a Collector 2000 symbol. This symbol will add the sum of all visible coin values to its current value at the beginning of each spin.

If a Snek symbol eats a Collector 2000 symbol, the value of the symbol is added to the coin value counter. Then the win multiplier at the time of it being eaten is multiplier to the value of the Collector 2000 symbol. I knew I would like this slot as soon as I saw what it was about. I grew up in the age of Nokia phones and Snake. Those who didn’t might not fully appreciate what Nolimit City has put together here. But if you did grow up with it, you’ll no doubt enjoy this one. You can still appreciate it if you’re younger as the gameplay and the bonus features are fantastic. Nolimit City never lets you down in that regard.

The max win potential of 8,110 x bet might not be as high as other slots from this provider, but the probability of 1 in 98,000 is a lot lower. You might not notice the significance of the specific value either. 8110 is the make of a Nokia phone, which is arguably why they’ve come up with that figure.

Overall, there’s plenty to enjoy here and so much going on that you’ll be entertained constantly in the base game and the bonus features. It reminds me a little of the Nine to Five slot that Nolimit released in November 2023, and they’ve followed up that superb release with another cracker with Brick Snake 2000.
