Theme – swords clash on the quest for glory
The Arthurian legend theme is a popular one and it’s done well here in the Knights of Avalon slot game. The reels look like their set at the top of a castle, with trees in the background. Everything’s very calm before you hit the spin button, and you can hear the noise of a horse and a knight in the distance. Hit the spin button and the music begins, sounding as though a battle is about to commence.
The only way to ensure the music is continuous is to use the autoplay function, but that’s not available to UK players. Either that or constantly hit the spin button, which isn’t an ideal solution. It’s something that I wish they’d amend at Red Tiger. I enjoy a continuous soundtrack personally. Aside from that, the visuals are great and, overall, it’s a very well-put-together game.
On the reels, the 4 card suits make up the lower-paying symbols and are shown on shields. The higher-paying ones are 4 different knights, with the Golden Knight symbol paying the most. It awards 1, 1.5 or 2.5 x your stake for 3, 4 or 5 in combination.
