I have to be completely honest, Yggdrasil surprised me with this theme. With the name FruitPunk, I expected a quirky fruit character that had a bit of a punk attitude. FruitPunk Verdict: A Decent Cascading Slot, but the Max Win isn’t Sweet Enough
I really wanted to love FruitPunk. It combines some of my favourite things: cyberpunk, cluster pays, and cascading reels. If I could dream up my perfect slot, they would all be part of the equation. Unfortunately, despite its promise, it doesn’t live up to expectations.
The maximum win, alongside RTP, is the biggest issue. At 7,000x your stake, it’s not enough for a game that’s so volatile. I went over 15 spins in a row without a win multiple times, and even when I did grab a decent win, I never hit over 56x my stake. I’d also like a few more features. What’s there is good, but it feels like it’s missing something in the Free Spins to take it over the edge. I hope Yggdrasil builds upon this and gives us a supercharged FruitPunk sequel.
