Cash Melon Combo Slot RTP, Details & Wager Limits
The Cash Melon Combo slot has a 5×3 grid, which is standard for traditional casino slots online. A minor downside is the use of just 20 paylines, which is fewer than in Megaways slots and other modern titles. As it has a traditional setup, you need to land at least 3 symbols on a payline to create a win, although the 7s only need 2.
You can wager between 50p and £50 per spin (up to £5 in the UK) in the Cash Melon Combo slot game. It’s likely to appeal only to mid-range players, as the 50p starting point could be too high for low-budget players. On top of that, £50 might not attract high rollers either, so it will not be on the list of the best slots online. All controls are on the right side of the screen and are simple enough to use. You can set up an autoplay, but it’s unavailable to UK casino users.
I was very disappointed with the Cash Melon Combo RTP—92.01% is super low for the new slots out there, and it’s a massive letdown. Since there aren’t any RTP ranges, you won’t need to check slot sites as the standard RTP is low across the board. I couldn’t find out the volatility while putting together my Cash Melon Combo review, but it felt medium, and the previous game in the series had a medium volatility, too.
The Cash Melon Combo max win is 2,000x the stake, which is low by modern standards. It’s yet another letdown while I was playing the Cash Melon Combo demo. My best win was just over 200x the stake, and that came in the mega bonus, showing that it’s a tough game to get big wins. You can take a shot at topping my best win in the free slots game that’s available at the top of this review.
Cash Melon Combo Theme—Hits Lots of Classic Tropes
Very little will surprise you in Cash Melon Combo. It’s intensely colourful, which makes sense given its fruit machine theme. All of the symbols are nicely drawn and look good on the reels; there’s just nothing new here. It’s typical of IGT, which often does the bare minimum when it comes to slot design.
I don’t mind the music at Cash Melon Combo casinos. It’s quite upbeat and sets an energetic scene. It’s not too generic and is more engaging than the visuals. I wouldn’t go out of my way to listen to the tune too often, but it’s still the best part of the theme.

Cash Melon Combo Mobile Slot
There’s a good conversion from the desktop game to the Cash Melon Combo mobile slot. It is well optimised, so it runs quickly without any slowdown. There’s no loss of graphical fidelity, so all of the symbols look sharp. It also keeps the sounds crisp, and as long as your device has good speakers, it won’t be tinny.
Since it’s a 5×3 grid, the Cash Melon Combo mobile casino game works and looks its best in landscape mode. If you trigger the 5×5 grid bonus, it looks okay in portrait, but generally, landscape is the way to go.
Cash Melon Combo Bonus Features
The Cash Melon Combo bonus features are all based around the melons landing on the reels. If they trigger the bonus wheel, it can award coin payouts and then start a bonus round.
Coin Boost
If the green melon triggers the bonus wheel, the Coin Boost feature is available. You get 5 spins to start, with the wheel potentially awarding extra spins. Whenever a coin lands during this feature, it awards the value. Landing melons will award an extra spin and boost the value of the coins. The round continues until you use all the spins or have a total of 88 spins.
Cash Pots
The red melon awards the Cash Pots feature after the wheel finishes. During this round, the jackpots are available if you manage to fill each option with diamonds. You get 8 spins, plus any extra from the wheel. Safes can land on the reels, which show diamonds that fill the jackpot slots, and can award up to 3 extra spins. Minor and Mini jackpots need 4 diamonds, and Major and Grand need 5.
Reel Boost
The blue melon awards the Reel Boost round. You get 5 spins in this round, with the potential for more spins from the wheel. It increases the reels to a 5×5 grid with 50 paylines. You can retrigger the feature during the round.
Cash Melon Combos
You can trigger multiple melons at once, which will give you combo bonus rounds. You can have any 2 of the features together, or the mega bonus, which triggers all 3 bonuses.
Cash Melon Combo Verdict: Fun Idea, Let Down by Underlying Maths
I like the bonus features in Cash Melon Combo. When they trigger it, it adds a lot of excitement and takes things up a notch. Unfortunately, while you’re waiting for them, the game is well below par. The RTP is the biggest issue, as it’s below the market average. On top of that, the max win is just 2,000x the stake, which is low in the modern era.
If IGT put more into the underlying maths of this game, it could have been a top-level new release. If you enjoy games with multiple features, this could catch your eye, but if you want big wins, it probably won’t deliver.
