The way the game engine is displayed in the Elementastic Tug of War™ slot is unusual compared to many online slots.
The bottom half of the screen features the standard reels. Above the reels are 14 circles where coins can move to. This is known as the Coin Chamber. Flanking the reels are a pair of animated genies representing Water and Fire. It makes for quite the visual spectacle.

Tug of War
Above the reels is the Tug of War Progress Bar. Land arrow symbols to advance along the Progress Bar. When the Bar is filled, you’ll trigger a feature, the Blue Abyss if you fill the water side or the Flaming Inferno for the fire side. They’re both multi-level pick-me features.
Choose a block from the bottom row. Keep picking until you reveal an arrow, which moves you up a row. Repeat the process on all 5 levels until you reach the single block at the top or you uncover the Exit symbol.
In the Blue Abyss Bonus, each block is worth between 1x and 20x or has a 2x or 3x multiplier. In the Flaming Inferno Bonus, prizes are worth 1x to 50x with the 2x and 3x multipliers. You’ll reach the top block in the Blue Abyss, but could land an early Exit in the Flaming Inferno.
Bonus Spins
Land scatter symbols on reels 2, 3, and 4 on the same spin and you’ll receive 10 free spins. The Coin Chamber is active during the Free Spins, but there’s no Gold Coin. Any coins added to the Chamber are active throughout the round until they’re won rather than disappearing after just two spins.
The Tug of War Trail is active, too. Storing 4, 5, 6, or 7 Water Arrows adds 1, 2, 2, and 5 more spins. Store 4, 5, 6, or 7 Fire Arrows to add 2, 3, 4, or 5x multipliers to your Coin Collect wins.
Elementastic Tug of War™ Verdict: Fire and Water Combine to Entertaining Effect
I enjoyed this epic battle between fire and water. There’s plenty going on here, and the gameplay can seem complicated, especially with the Coin Chamber and Gold Coin above the reels. Throw the arrows and animated genies into the mix, and it can seem a bit overwhelming.
Once you’ve got accustomed to the setup, there’s a lot to like. The varied gameplay keeps the action fresh and rolling along nicely.
The RTP in the version I played is a little underwhelming. The same goes for max win. If you can get past that, I found Elementastic Tug of War™ to be a surprisingly playable all-rounder.
