There’s a comic-book quality to the imagery here which is impressively done. Likewise, the rather intense soundtrack could come from a high-octane action movie. This is another superbly designed slot from the ELK stable.
The reels are made up of metallic A to 10 royal symbols which appear alongside higher value symbols that have more of a canine flavour. There’s a bowl full of food, a tankard, a gun and a collar covered in studs. The police badge is the most lucrative symbol, paying 25 x stake if you land 6 in a line.
There are six Dirty Dawg symbols, each of which is wild. As you might expect given the theme, poodles and chihuahuas they most certainly are not. There’s a lot to like in Dirty Dawgs of Nitropolis. The sound and visuals are terrific for starters. The gameplay delivers a good selection of extras too. It can be a bit complicated to start with so if you can, get accustomed to the setup with a few spins in demo mode.
The main downside here is the 94% RTP which is rather low, especially when the return to player rate in many new releases is north of 96%. The cartoon canine crime fighters are a fearsome looking bunch. They can bite as well as they can bark too. The volatility isn’t quite as stratospherically high as some releases but it’s still very fiery. Too fiery for some perhaps. The 25,000 x bet maximum win is a decent number though.
