Colt Lightning Inferno Verdict: Introduces a Hold and Win Round to the Wild
Colt Lightning Inferno might not be a monumental leap forward in the wildlife series, but it’s not bad at all. It sticks to the familiar scene while bringing a pseudo-sense of calm with its sharp nighttime design. Visually, this is the best yet in my books.
Where things get a bit rough is the gameplay. In an attempt to pack in more innovation on this instalment, Play’n GO has made the gameplay quite complex. The main introduction is the Hold’N Load round, where you can unlock up to 4 new rows.
With the expanded grid, there are more positions to land and collect the cash and jackpot symbols. In fact, there’s also an Extra Boost feature that throws in multiple 2x multipliers into the mix.
It’s fair to call the Hold and Win-style bonus a solid replacement for the wheel bonus in the most recent prequel.
4ThePlayer’s 5 Wild Wolves offers another interesting time on the North American plains. It packs in stacked multipliers, fixed jackpots, and a max win of 10,500x the bet.
