Avalon X Mobile Slot
Avalon X plays just as smoothly on mobile casinos as it does on desktop, with no loss in sound, graphics, animations, or overall performance.

Global Multiplier
The global multiplier applies to all winning clusters. If you land a win with low-value symbols, it increases by 1. However, winning with high-value symbols increases it by 2. It stays active for the entire Avalanche round and never resets until the round ends.
Note that if multiple multiplier wilds are part of a winning cluster, their values are added together and applied to that cluster’s payout before the global multiplier is used.
Also, each win creates a new wild in one of the empty spaces left behind after symbols explode. If multiple wilds are part of the same winning cluster, their multiplier values are added and given to the new wild created from that win. Regular wilds count as having a multiplier of 1.
Big Symbols
In Avalon X, all pay symbols and Mystery Boxes can appear in four sizes: 1×1, 2×2, 3×3, and 4×4. These count as the number of positions it covers. For example, a 2×2 symbol takes up the space of four regular 1×1 symbols, so it’s counted as four symbols towards a win.
When these big symbols drop again, they crush regular 1×1 symbols below them, except for matching symbols, wilds, scatters, and Mystery Boxes. These remain in place. Also, if a big symbol lands and leaves empty spaces underneath it, those spaces are automatically filled with regular 1×1 symbols of the same type as the big symbol.
Mystery Boxes
Mystery Boxes are blockers that can drop anywhere. When 5 or more are on the grid and no wins remain, they activate one by one. Each can reveal a payout symbol, a wild, or trigger one of the Avalon features.

If a Mystery Box exposes a payout or wild, and it creates a win, avalanches start again. The other Mystery Boxes turn inactive until the avalanches finish. Then, once no more wins appear, the Mystery Boxes reactivate.
If a Mystery Box triggers the Avalon features, it will reveal either a coin win, where the coin’s value is multiplied by your current bet, or one of the following:
- Collect: Adds up all coin values already revealed from Mystery Boxes and awards the total. All opened Mystery Boxes are then reactivated, revealing new coin wins or features
- Redrop: Drops a new set of symbols and restores all Mystery Boxes on screen. This happens only after all other Mystery Box features have been completed
- Global Multiplier Spreader: Randomly selects revealed coin values and multiplies them

Holy Strike

Avalon X Verdict: Where Story-Driven Design Meets Layered Multipliers
You might have to get yourself ready for the lengthy stretches in between. However, if you’re into Arthurian legend and the lore of the Isle of Avalon, Avalon X is a true fan’s dream. I would have preferred a higher than 94% RTP. Still, there is a lot that keeps it from feeling stale, particularly the blend of proven mechanics. I’m talking about the big symbols, the interaction between the growing global multiplier and wilds, Mystery Boxes, which are central to the gameplay, and the added bursts from Holy Strike.
The 10,000x cap is also highly appealing. Plus, visually, it impressed me with a constantly moving, high-quality background that is detailed and immersive and runs smoothly throughout. The audio plays a strong role in tying everything together, too. And even though it might feel like a lot to take in at first, I love how every element is connected.
