Walking Wild Respin Feature

The gravestone is the expanding wild symbol. Whenever one of these lands, it expands to turn the whole of that reel wild. It also triggers the Walking Wild Respin feature. A respin is awarded and the expanded wild walks one reel to the left. The respins continue until the walking wild drops off the screen. It’s possible to land more walking wilds during a re-spin.

Free Respins Feature

Trigger the main bonus round by landing the skull scatter symbol on reels 1, 3 and 5 on the same spin. Above the reels, you’ll see a meter when you can collect special walking wild symbols.

You’ll start the round with 2 walking wilds. One of them drops onto the reels for the first respin. As usual, it walks its way across the screen toward reel 1. Each time a collectable wild lands during this round, it’s collected in the meter above the reels.

These collected wilds can drop onto the reels at random intervals or when there are no more expanded wilds on the reels.

Each time a new gravestone wilds lands, it also increases the value of a multiplier. You can check out the value of that multiplier via the meter to the left of the reels. The respins continue until there are no more walking wilds left anywhere on the reels.

Day of Dead Review Summary – A Super Volatile Take on this Creepy Celebration

This isn’t the first slot to take inspiration from the Mexican festival that honours the dead. It’s one of the better ones though.

The sound and visuals impress and the gameplay can deliver some cracking action. That’s certainly true in the Respin Bonus. Land 2 stacked walking wilds next to each other in combination with a decent multiplier and the coins can really flow.

Be warned though, this is an extremely volatile slot. You can expect lengthy spells when you won’t get close to the feature and even if you do, it can be a real feast or famine affair.
