With a punk rock theme, the Punk Toilet slot is the sequel to Punk Rocker. Also set in London, it’s set in a restroom where there are graffiti-enlaced walls and a glory door. It’s modelled on the bathroom at The George Tavern in Shadwell (minus the glory door). The game uses the same soundtrack as in Punk Rocker but the sound is muffled. This is due to the setting of the bathroom which is quite clever in actual fact.

Nolimit City are no strangers to controversy (think Tombstone RIP). The story behind Punk Toilet is that the beloved characters from the prequel reappear in a public restroom. Shit gets weird with piss battles take place. This wild night out will be a total nightmare or the best part of your night.

Symbols on the reels include graffiti-style A, K, Q, J and 10 royals as the low value symbols. Then you have 6 punk/pop art characters including Boned (Sean Connery AKA James Bond), Stein (Albert Einstein), Betty the Chimp, Mona (Mona Lisa), Ace (Winston Churchill and Haw-King (Stephen Hawking). Ace and Haw-King pay the most with 3, 4 or 5 awarding 0.5, 1.5 or 5 x your total stake.

Punk Toilet Mobile

The excellent, high-definition graphics and soundtrack are best experienced on a laptop or PC in my opinion. However, Punk Toilet can be played on mobiles and tablets too includes ones that use iOS, Android and Windows operating systems.

Punk Toilet Bonus Features

The Punk Toilet slot game has a total of 6 bonus features. Urinal cells see oversized symbol characters with beer wilds added whilst loo symbols option up the Glory Door to transform character symbols into the Haw-King. It can also reveal xSplit and xMega Split symbols for more ways to win. With xWays, there are 2 free spins feature with increasing multipliers.

Urinals feature

Beneath reels 2, 3 and 4 you will find locked urinal cell positions. Land 1 or 2 scatter symbols on the 3 middle reels will unlock the urinal below them and trigger the Urinals feature. An oversized version of any character symbol, bar Haw-King, will fall down and become a wild beer symbol in the character’s hand. The symbol will give you a 1 high x wild beer symbol and a 2 x high character symbol.

Glory Door feature

On reel 5, a locked Glory Door covering the 3 lower positions will appear. Landing the loo symbol on reel 5 will open up the Glory Door feature and reveal 1 of 2 options.

It can reveal a 3-high Haw-King symbol which turns all character symbols into the Haw-King. The Glory Door can also reveal a special symbol and a character symbol (2-high).

Importantly, the character symbol doubles the size of that symbol on the other 4 reels. This increases the number of ways to win. The special symbol can be a regular wild, xSplit or xMega Split symbol:

• xSplit: splits all paying symbols to the left in a horizontal line. It also acts as a 2-high wild and will split xWays symbols if present on the reels.
• xMega Split: splits all paying symbols to double size on reels 1 to 4 and acts as a 2-high wild.

xWays feature

The xWays symbol (with a football pitch background) can land on any of the 3 middle reels. When it does, the xWays feature is activated. It then reveals a random regular symbol or wild. If more than 1 xWays symbol lands, all xWays symbols reveal the same symbol. The size of the xWays symbol can range from 2 to 6 symbols and will increase the number of ways to win.

P!$$ Spins feature

Landing 3 or more question mark scatters on the 3 middle reels simultaneously will trigger the P!$$ Spins feature. It will take approximately 207 base game spins to achieve this. With 6 free spins awarded, the Urinal cells at the bottom of the 3 central reels are always open and reveal an oversized character symbol.

Look out for scatters as each one give you 1 additional free spin as well as upgrading the Urinal cell multiplier in its reel by 1. The multiplier can only increase as it doesn’t reset during the feature. The multiplier on the Urinal cell is multiplied to the oversized character symbol’s multiplier. Each character appears sitting on a toilet.

Then you have the loo scatter symbol which triggers the Glory Door positions to open. You will also receive 2 more free spins and upgrade to the $h!t Spins feature. This will happen once every 27 times you play the P!$$ Spins feature.

$h!t Spins feature

The $h!t Spins feature is triggered from the P!$$ Spins feature or by landing 3 question mark scatters and 1 loo scatter. A kicking Eric Cantona character flies across the reels before the feature begins. With 8 free spins granted, the gameplay is similar to the P!$$ Spins feature.

The difference is that the Loo scatter sticks when landing and the Glory Door is always open. This feature will take approximately 13,000 spins to activate.

Nolimit Bonus feature

As in other Nolimit City slots, there’s a Nolimit Bonus feature. Not available in the UK though, you have 3 options which allow you to buy your way into the spins features. If you choose the lucky draw option, there’s a 50/50 chance of getting 1 of the spins features.

Punk Toilet Review Summary – more chaotic + offensive than the original

The Punk Toilet slot has a lot to live up considering how popular Punk Rocker is. In true Nolimit City style, they’ve taken the game in a controversial direction as it’s set in a pub loo. With poo and pee the subject of the free spins features, it ties in nicely in my opinion to the London setting.

Even though Punk Toilet uses the same characters as the original, they’ve added Haw-King which resembles Stephen Hawking. This may be a bridge too far for some as he was much-loved by the British public and died in 2018. That said, the Haw-King symbol is the most valuable and transforms other symbols for potentially bigger wins.

With the xWays symbol increasing the number of ways to win significantly, the key to big wins will come from the free spins features naturally. The P!$$ Spins feature will take 207 spins on average to activate with an average win of 39 x stake. It will take you 24,000 feature triggers to win the max 33,333 x stake on average. Finally, you have a 1 in 27 chance of triggering the $h!t Spins feature from here.

As for the $h!t Spins feature, the average win will be 185 x stake with the max win achieved ever 3,400 spins on average. As mentioned , it’s hard to trigger as it will be activated every 13,000 spins. The difference from the P!$$ Spins feature is that Glory Door feature is always active meaning you’ll get transforming Haw-King , xSplit and xMega Split symbols for more ways to win. With it being so hard to trigger, it will take you 3,400 attempts to win the 33,333 x stake top payout on average.

On the whole, Punk Toilet is bolder than its predecessor. It offers more than double max win potential (33,333 vs 15,072 x stake) but the source material is cruder and more controversial. Whilst it doesn’t offer the mouth-watering 300,000 x stake max wins of the previously released Tombstone RIP slot, it can still pack quite the punch, even in the base game.

Whilst some may find the imagery and inspiration a little shocking, I think Nolimit City are again showing why slot players can’t wait for their releases. Their reputation for pushing boundaries just makes you think where you will go next with future slots. At least you know the journey will be unique and intriguing.
