Where to Play Wild Tome of the Woods Slot
Beautifully designed, you are taken to Whittlewood Forest, a former medieval hunting ground set in Northamptonshire (England). With a fairy tale feel, you will see 3 different magic potions and quirky animals – you have Crickey the half frog/half newt, Sylvester the 3rd which is the fox and Eleanor the posh owl from Oxford.
Symbols can appear stacked which helps to form winning combinations more easily. There’s also a wild symbol that replaces all symbols – 3, 4, 5 or 6 in combination will reward you with 1, 2, 6 or 20 times your stake making it the most lucrative symbol.
The other symbol of note is the Wild Tome symbol – when you get 1 more Wild Tome symbols in a base game spin, the Wild Tome feature comes into play. Each Wild Tome symbol then chooses 1 of the other character or potion symbols on the reels turning them both (and itself) into wild symbols.
There’s also a chance that 1 of the wild symbols will transform into another Wild Tome – this will then turn another character or potion symbol into a wild (as well as itself into a wild). This can carry on and on until you fill the reels entirely with wilds. If you do this, you’ll trigger the All Wilds Win feature which will reward you with a 1,000 times stake prize (as opposed to 520 times your stake regularly).
That’s about it for Wild Tome of the Woods – there’s no free spins feature unfortunately. With a fairy tale feel, the slot is gentle and calm. Variance wise, it’s medium to high with maximum wins of 416 times your stake if you fill the reels with Eleanor the owl. If you manage to fill the reels with wilds, you’ll win 520 times your stake – however, the All Wilds Win feature kicks in giving you a 1,000 times stake payout instead.
Whilst Wild Tome of the Woods looks great, it doesn’t offer enough for me to keep coming back – Quickspin has produced much better slots in my opinion, with Divine Dreams as my personal favourite.
