Visually, The Wild Gang slot certainly holds its own even though it’s not as good as the games mentioned above. With the Wild West theme being very popular amongst slot providers, Pragmatic Play could have done more with the characters in my opinion. It looks a little like Hacksaw Gaming’s Wanted Dead or a Wild truth be told.
With mystery symbols that feature in many other slot games, it’s all about the Wild Multipliers. In the base game, a 4x wild multiplier on 2 of the 4 middle reels will result in a 16x multiplier applied to your win. 3 or 4 Wild/Scatter symbols will trigger the respective free spins feature though where bigger wins are possible.
In both free spins features, Wilds landing will give you a wild multiplier which increases the second time they appear. On the 3rd landing, the multipliers disappear oddly. In the Dead or Alive Free Spins feature, the multiplier can reach 4x. If you land a 4x Wild Multiplier on all 6 reels, a 4,096x multiplier will be applied to your wins. You’ll also play with more ways to win (4,096 vs 2,304).
That said, the key with both free spins features is collecting Wild Multipliers. This increases the overall multiplier (in the top left-hand corner) which then applies to the total win from the feature. If this multiplier is high, big wins are certainly possible.
