The Da Vinci Device Verdict: Some Nice Ideas, But Lacking Payouts
There are some aspects of The Da Vinci Device that I really like. I think the theme is fantastic, possibly the best I’ve seen this year. The wild multipliers in the Free Spins feature are another positive aspect of this game.
Unfortunately, the positives aren’t strong enough to outweigh the negatives. I don’t think there’s enough going on here. While the minimalist look works really well in the theme, I think it needs more in the gameplay. There’s not enough going on here, and it diminishes the overall experience. The maximum win is also way too low, 1,600x for a medium volatility game just doesn’t cut it these days. It’s worth trying if you’re interested in the Renaissance time period, but otherwise, there are many better games out there.
I would suggest you try 1×2 Gaming’s I Am The Law, which is better in many ways.
