As a revamped version of a land-based slot, the Texas Tea slot is played across a traditional layout of 5 reels, 3 rows and 9 paylines. Wins are created in the conventional way too, simply land 2 or more matching symbols along a payline, starting from the left (reel 1). Choose various locations across Texas to win cash prizes. The number of locations you can choose is equal to how many bonus symbols triggered the round; 3 Oil Derricks in the base game gives you 3 location selections and so on. This also determines the range of prizes on offer.

To start with, we have to say we understand that the Texas Tea slot is a popular land-based game and there’s a reason for that. Its low volatility means wins come often and whilst the gameplay seems basic it can actually be quite lucrative.
Though the Big Oil Bonus is the most unique part of the game, the key to winning big is simply landing 5 Texas Tea logo symbols. This gives you the slot’s max win of 10,000 x stake, though the 100 x multiplier in the Oil Dividend Bonus feature isn’t too shabby either.
The problem is that we’re not sure it stands up when compared to other online titles. Even with a revamp the graphics look dated and the game doesn’t offer any free spins. Consider the bonus features available in other low volatility slots like Starburst and there’s a lot left to be desired.
