Temple of Lunaris™ Slot RTP, Details & Wager Limits
In the Temple of Lunaris™ slot, you’ll find a 5×4 grid with 30 paylines. Yes, it’s well below the number of winning ways Megaways slots offer, but it’s around the average amount for slot games in general. You need at least 3 symbols on a line to create a win for lower-value icons, but the wilds and high-value symbols only need 2. It’s a standard mechanic that most online slots use.
You can bet between 20p and £50 per spin in the Temple of Lunaris™ slot game. This range covers most players, apart from the lowest and highest budgets, but it is, again, around what a lot of new slots provide. I played with £1 per spin, which is my standard amount for free slots.
All controls are on the right, and the spin button is prominent. You can turn on turbo spins and set an autoplay function, but not if you’re playing at a UK online casino.
The Temple of Lunaris™ RTP is 96.13%, which is the average level for the industry. There are versions with other RTP values (94.15% and 92.14%), so you should check out different slot sites to try and find the best RTP option. The volatility is high, which didn’t shock me when I was putting together my Temple of Lunaris™ review. Gameplay felt highly volatile the entire time I was playing.
The Temple of Lunaris™ max win is 5,000x your stake. It’s not a bad payout, but it’s not awe-inspiring either. If you prefer the wins available in jackpot slots, this won’t really catch your eye. The Super Bonus is the best way to get the biggest payouts, and I hit almost 100x my stake in the Temple of Lunaris™ demo.
Temple of Lunaris™ Theme—Another Egyptian Slot With Little Innovation
I really don’t think Just For The Win/Games Global has put as much effort as they could have in the Temple of Lunaris™ slot. While the graphics don’t look bad, they don’t stand out, either. They follow the same tropes as pretty much every other ancient Egyptian slot, without any real innovation. It’s disappointing, as trying something new with the theme would make it a much more appealing game.
It’s a similar story with the sounds. As soon as I loaded up Temple of Lunaris™ casinos, it was obvious that I’d heard all of these sounds before. Even the main tune sounded like a rehash of another theme. It really frustrated me, as the level of effort into the design didn’t match what’s been put into the gameplay.
You can see the design of the symbols and the details of the paytable below:

Temple of Lunaris™ Mobile Slot
As soon as you load the Temple of Lunaris™ mobile slot, you’ll notice it is extremely similar to the desktop version. The graphics are identical and are just shrunk down for smaller screens. There’s no slowdown, and this is due to the HTML5 optimisation that makes everything smooth for mobile casino players.
There’s not much difference between the portrait and landscape modes either. As the reels sit in the centre of the screen, they accommodate perfectly to both options, so you don’t lose any quality whichever mode you play in.
Temple of Lunaris™ Bonus Features
The Temple of Lunaris™ slot bonus features are the highlight of the game. They try a range of new ideas, which helps this title stand out from the crowd a bit.
Lunar Wilds
Each reel has a Lunar Wild holder above it. On any spin, Lunar shards can land and be collected by the holder. When it collects 3 shards, the Lunar Wilds feature triggers. It places a wild at the top of the corresponding reel, which becomes sticky for your next spin. On each subsequent spin, it spreads down a space and continues until the whole reel is completely wild.
After the final spin with a full reel, the wilds vanish, and you can begin collecting shards for that reel again. It is possible to get multiple Lunar Wilds at a time, and you have to pay for each spin—this is not a respin round.
Chamber of Gold
When the A, Green God, or Blue God symbols land, there’s a chance they will carry a scarab symbol. If this symbol appears, it attacks the lock on the Chamber of Gold. This action can randomly unlock it, which takes you into the bonus round.
Here, you choose symbols until you unveil 3 matching icons. The following prizes are available:
- Mini:15x your stake
- Minor: 40x your stake
- Major: 200x your stake
- Mega: 5,000x your stake
Bonus Round
The scatter symbols can land on the middle 3 reels, and when you land them on all 3, the Bonus Round starts. It takes you to a new set of reels, with a Lunar Wild at the top of the third reel. You then get endless respins that continue while there are wilds on the reels.
If a wild lands anywhere else on the reels, it will also start the Lunar Wild process from the position where it landed. So, as long as you keep landing new wilds, the round will carry on. Every new spin increases the global multiplier by 1x.
If you land 2 scatters on the reels 20 times, this fills the Super Bonus Upgrade Meter and unlocks the Super Bonus Round. You still need to land 3 scatters on the reels to trigger the upgraded feature. This bonus round works similarly to the standard one, but it has a 5x starting multiplier and the Lunar Wilds start on the second and fourth reels.
Temple of Lunaris™ Verdict: Inventive Mechanics, but Lacklustre Underlying Numbers and Design
The Temple of Lunaris™ slot is a game full of mixed signals. There’s obviously a lot of time put into the features, as they’re enjoyable and inventive. However, it seems that Just For The Win hasn’t extended the same approach to the matters of design, which feels derivative and generic.
The design could be forgiven if the maximum win were higher, though. At just 5,000x the stake, it doesn’t match up to what many other modern slots offer. It’s a shame, as there’s a lot of potential here. Temple of Lunaris™ is worth checking out for its features, but it’s most likely not a long-term prospect for serious players.
