Soul Slayer Slot RTP, Details & Wager Limits
Stakelogic gets into the spirit of Halloween with the Soul Slayer slot game, played on a 6×5, 40-payline game grid. Create winners by landing 3, 4, or 5 matching symbols from left to right in a payline, starting from reel 1.
The minimum bet of 40p is high compared to many online slots. This rises to a maximum of £80 (£5 if playing in the UK). Autoplay and turbo spin modes aren’t offered at UK online casinos but are available in some territories.
The Soul Slayer RTP is 96.01%, which puts it firmly in the middle of the pack in terms of return-to-player rates. Check out the best payout slots where the RTP percentages are even higher. The Soul Slayer max win of 5,000x isn’t massive considering it’s a highly volatile slot, especially when compared to the big jackpot slots.
The Incursion Feature delivered the best action when I played the Sould Slayer demo slot. Winning multiple battles can really get things moving. If you want to try slots before shelling out your hard-earned cash (which I recommend), check out our top collection of free play slots.
Soul Slayer Theme—A Comic Book-Style Horror
The visuals in the Soul Slayer slot really catch the eye. It’s done like a simple drawn comic book. Set against an urban street scene, the reels contain lower-value royals and five potentially more rewarding demons. They include a vampire, a goblin, a gargoyle, a succubus, and the demon prince. I really liked the cartoon aesthetics.
Trigger the bonus round and you’ll head deep underground into the flaming Demon World. You’ll hear a rather intense, heavy rock soundtrack blasting away in the background. It’s not to my taste, but it certainly matches the visuals and theme.
There’s a rather retro feel to the design here, and it works really well.
Here’s what the paytable looks like:

Soul Slayer Mobile Slot
The Soul Slayer slot impresses when playing at mobile casinos. I tested the game on both tablets and smartphones and found no performance drop compared to the online casino slot. The visuals are crisp on the small screen. The only thing you might miss are some meaty speakers for the rock-heavy soundtrack. That didn’t bother me, though—the Sould Slayer mobile slot is well put together.
Soul Slayer Bonus Features
Compared to many new slots, the Soul Slayer bonus features are quite unusual. Central to the action are mysterious transforming portals, magic multiplier wilds, and a huge Battle bonus where the heroic Slayer goes toe-to-toe with the demons.
Wild Slayer Feature
The silver-haired Slayer is a special wild symbol that can only appear on reel 1. When the Slayer Wild lands and there’s a Demon symbol elsewhere on the reels, the Wild Slayer Feature triggers. One type of Demon is randomly chosen. All examples of that symbol are destroyed and replaced by wilds or multiplier wilds that come with 2x, 3x, or 5x multipliers. A new payout consideration follows with the new wilds in position.
Incursion Feature
This feature can trigger at random on any base game spin. Between 5 and 20 portals are dropped onto the game grid. These portals reveal the same demon symbol. The rest of the reels spin normally, and a payout calculation is made.
Slayer Feature
This triggers when a Slayer Wild lands while the Incursion Feature is live. Five or more portals are awarded during the spin. If a Slayer Wild lands, he targets the Demons in the portals, upgrading them to wilds or multiplier wilds.
Combat Feature
Activate this round by landing 3, 4, or 5 scatters on the same spin. Once triggered, the Slayer on reel 1 goes into battle with a demon on reel 6:
- In Level 1, if the Slayer wins three contests, he goes on to a Boss Fight against the Minotaur
- In level 2, Slayer has to defeat three higher-ranked opponents (ie, not the vampire) and then face the three-headed dog Cerberus
- Defeat Cerberus, and he reaches Level 3, where he faces the three top demons. If victorious, he takes on the Dragon Lord
So how do you win anything in this round? By collecting coins and looting them from the Demons during the fights. You can also collect multipliers from the Demons, which boost payouts by between 2x and 10x. Other symbols can appear and award health points or damage Slayer’s opponents or Slayer himself.
If the Slayer loses a contest, the Combat Feature ends, and you’ll return to the base game.
Bonus Buy and Super Stake™ (Not Available in the UK)
Players in some jurisdictions can increase their stake by 0.5x per spin and activate Super Stake™ mode. This doubles the chances of triggering the Combat Feature.
Alternatively, pay a fee of 100x to trigger the Combat Feature directly.
Soul Slayer Verdict: This Cartoon Horror Offers Chills and Thrills
There’s plenty of competition come Halloween season, and Stakelogic has created something a bit different in Soul Slayer. That’s true of both the design and the gameplay.
The cartoon visuals look a treat. The features stack up pretty well, too. I especially liked the Incursion Feature, where many portals can deliver some paranormal rewards. As for the Combat Feature, it wasn’t really for me. I’d have preferred some free spins. It’s innovative, though.
For a fresh take on the classic horror theme, Soul Slayer is certainly worth investigating.
