Rotiki Slot RTP, Details & Wager Limits
The Rotiki slot is playing on 6 reels, 8 rows, and uses the Cluster Pays mechanic that could lead to potentially big wins. 5 or more matching symbols connected vertically or horizontally in a cluster will award a win. Winning symbols are then held, with non-winning ones replaced by new ones via a reel rotation.
Rather than the usual cascades, the symbols move from left to right with each ‘block’ rotating, which is an innovative effect to see during gameplay.
Stakes range from just 5p up to £100 per spin, thus catering for all bankrolls from low to high stakes. Simple use the + and – buttons below the reels to choose your bet size or just select one of the values in between those buttons.
The Rotiki RTP is 96.2%, which is above average for a slot of this type but the usual figure you’d see with other top Play ‘n GO slots. Volatility here is in the medium range, which is encouraging to see.
The maximum win is 1,000 x your stake, which is a little disappointing to see when you compare that to some of the max wins available with other slots around today. But what’s good here is that the probability of landing it is 1 in 21,541, which is much better than we’ve seen elsewhere with other max win probabilities. It’s often in the hundreds of thousands or even millions.
Theme – venture into an Aztec rainforest
The theme in the Rotiki slot game is all about the Aztecs. It’s based on King Kamehameha, who was the leader of the infamous Aztec tribe and someone not willing to part with his fortune. As a result, he was buried in secret. Your aim in the game is to navigate the vast rainforests and locate the king’s ancient burial place, with the help of Tiki Magic.
The reels are set in the rainforest and are very colourful, with a volcano in the background and statues on either side. The grid even flashes if you’re not spinning to grab your attention. The soundtrack is very tribal with drums and chants from the statues offering a very authentic slice of Aztec culture. It gets more intense the more you play, almost sounding like you’re getting to that crucial part of an action movie. It’s all done very well and really adds to the overall appeal of the slot.
On the grid, the lower-paying symbols are different coloured icons that go with the theme – green, red, blue and purple. These are joined by higher-paying mask symbols that are also different colours. The purple mask is the most rewarding symbol, paying up to 100 x your stake for 48 matching ones.
The game’s Wild is a W, which substitutes for all symbols and can reveal a Tiki Magic power.

Rotiki Mobile
All Play’n GO titles are produced with HTML5 technology and the Rotiki slot game is no different. Available to play on mobile, tablet and desktop devices, this 6×8 grid slot is perfect for mobile play. However, I would always personally choose a laptop or PC due to the larger screen size for a game like this.
Rotiki Bonus Features
There are 5 main bonus features in the Rotiki slot, with re-spins and Tiki Magic a big part of the action. There’s also an exciting Treasure Room waiting for you if you managed to fill the grid. Read on to discover how the bonus features work.
Re-spin feature
Landing your first winning cluster will give you 3 re-spins. All winning symbols are held and re-spins can provide new symbols. If you manage to fill any row, you will be awarded 3 more re-spins. This can continue until you either run out of re-spins with no winners or fill the grid to move to the Treasure Room feature, which we will explain shortly.
Tiki Magic feature
Once the re-spins have ended, winning Wild symbols will reveal their Tiki Magic. It will either glow pink and stay as a Wild or it can turn into 1 of the following 2 icons:
| Icon | Information |
| Hanumi Plus Icon | Only available when part of 2+ clusters. Connecting clusters merge as one and the highest paying cluster is chosen. |
| Whakarei Arrow Icon | Only available when part of 1 cluster. The arrow icon upgrades the cluster to a random and high-paying mask symbol for potentially bigger wins. |
The Treasure Room feature
You’ll be pleased to know there are no booby traps here and just good things. If you manage to fill the grid with your re-spins, you will trigger the Treasure Room feature. You simply need to smash wall tiles one at a time to reveal hidden contents.
There are 48 tiles in total, and each pick will reduce the remaining number of picks by 1. The following tiles are available in this bonus round:
- 31 Neutral Tiles – No functionality.
- 9 Multiplier Tiles – Increase the multiplier by 1 when chosen, which begins at 1x.
- 6 Extra Pick Tiles – Give 5 extra picks when chosen.
- 1 Special Tile – Awards the maximum multiplier of 10x when chosen and ends the feature.
Rotiki Review Summary – Not bad but room for improvement
The Rotiki slot promises a lot with its stunning visuals, authentic soundtrack and fun bonus features. But I couldn’t help feeling a little let down with some of it. Maybe I was expecting too much for a slot with 1,000 x max win potential. For example, if you manage to land 25 matching symbols of the lower-paying tribal icons, you’ll get just 3x your stake in return. Doesn’t seem fair, does it?
But this game isn’t really about landing huge wins with most of the grid covered in 1 symbol, although it probably should be. It’s more about aiming toward filling the grid so you can get to the Treasure Room feature and enjoy smashing titles for numerous different prizes. But again, that can only lead to max wins of 1,000 x your stake, which isn’t great compared to many other slots on the market.
Overall, this will certainly appeal to anyone who enjoys their Aztec-themed slots, and the max win isn’t too bad when you consider you can bet up to £100 per spin. The rotating positions instead of the cascading wins is a unique part of a pretty unique slot, but it’s a little like marmite – you’re going to either love it or hate it, there’s no in-between in my opinion.
Why not give our free demo a go and decide for yourself which side of the fence you’re on?
If you want more action and better max win potential with the same theme, consider playing Quickspin’s Azticons Chaos Clusters slot, which comes with a fun Free Spins feature and max win potential of 25,000 x your stake. Alternatively, you cannot go wrong with NetEnt’s Gonzo’s Quest, which is one of the most popular slots around offering max wins of a mammoth 37,500 x your stake.
