As usual for a slot release from Yggdrasil Gaming, the design in Rainbow Ryan 2 is impressive. A classic Irish bar is the setting here. You’ll see wooden booths, shamrocks, and a collection of customers enjoying a live music show. That music is provided by Rainbow Ryan, strumming his guitar, alongside the reels.
The symbols appear on what look like wooden panels. There you’ll find lower value A to 10 playing card ranks alongside a pint of beer, a bottle of whiskey, a leprechaun’s green hat and a keg of beer. The keg of beer symbol pays the most. The pot of gold coins is the wild symbol. This substitutes for all the standard symbols when it makes up part of a winning combination. The amp is the free spins scatter symbol. Land 3 or more of these on the same spin to trigger the main feature round.
There’s a rather rocky but unmistakably Irish-inspired soundtrack playing while you spin. It’s a real toe-tapper and fits the theme perfectly.

Encore Respins feature

The latest outing for Yggdrasil’s leprechaun musician is a winner. The sound and visuals are excellent. Some slots with this theme can be a bit overloaded with cliches but Rainbow Ryan 2 just stays on the right side. I like the different in the audio, but it might not be to everyone’s taste,
The features stack up well too. There’s more than enough variety to keep things interesting. The synced reels can deliver some terrific action, especially during the free spins feature if you land them in combination with the Encore Spins.
The theme here might be rather jolly but the Rainbow Ryan 2 volatility is high so tread carefully. The only thing we didn’t really like about this slot is the RTP of 94% which is below average.
