It’s all about Native America in this Primal Spirits slot game and I like the way it’s all set up. The reels are set in the forest with a roaring campfire burning away just in from of the 5×3 grid. It’s dark at night too, so you can hear the relaxing sound of the night creatures in the background along with a calming soundtrack.
Land the Free Spins feature and the audio becomes more upbeat, with traditional instruments from the Native American era playing while the sky turns purple with the trees moving on either side of the reels. Primal Spirits Review Summary – Not your typical Native American slot
After completing this Primal Spirits review, it’s not easy to understand exactly what Quickspin are trying to achieve. Ok, so it’s clearly a Native American theme and uses the spirit animals from that era, but the unique tumbling mechanic with the additional features gives it a little twist that’s different from all the other slots on offer with this theme. Is it a good thing? I think it is but I haven’t quite made my mind up.
The graphics are solid enough and you know it’s a Quickspin slot as soon as you load it up. The audio that accompanies it isn’t too bad or over the top either. But I can’t help but feel that this might be one you’d enjoy if you like Native American slots. If you’re not a fan, I’m not sure how long you’ll stick around before moving on to another game. There’s certainly enough going on to keep the curious players interested for a while though.
The max win of 8,623 x your stake could be a little higher considering the volatility is super high, but that aside, it’s a pretty good slot and well designed. It will appeal to a lot of players and, overall, it gets the thumbs up from me.
