Pirots 2 Slot RTP, Details & Wager Limits
Like its predecessor, the Pirots 2 slot uses the CollectR mechanic. Played initially on a 6×6 grid, winning combinations are formed by a bird moving and collecting adjacent amber fossil symbols, horizontally or vertically.
Adjacent symbols therefore can appear below, above, right or left of the bird. It’s a unique mechanic which is different to standard cluster pay slots. All drops/spins in the base game begin with Amber Symbols on payout level 1 (more details on this below).

Theme: head to Dino World with the Fearful Four
With a dinosaur/bird theme, the Pirots 2 slot is the sequel to the popular Pirots released in March 2023. This time around, swashbuckler birds (the Fearful Four) fly away from their Caribbean island to Dino World. The first thing you’ll notice is the soundtrack which sounds very similar to Jurassic Park’s main theme created by John Williams.
The setting is a dense forest which could be in Jurassic Park actually. With lush vegetation and dinosaurs in the backdrop, there is a rollercoaster track in the backdrop which is a little odd (but cool). To me, it seems like the Fearful Four have travelled to a habitat full of genetically engineered dinosaurs/theme park. Otherwise, the visuals remain very similar to the original game. The sweeping soundtrack is different and really sets the scene.
On the reels, you’ll notice blue, green, purple and red amber fossils. The red amber fossil is the best-paying symbol awarding between 0.1 and 50 x your total bet depending on which payout level you reach. Look out for the 4 bird symbols which move and collect feature symbols and matching fossils of the same colour. As with the original slot, the birds look like they’re from The Angry Birds film.

Pirots Bonus Features
The Pirots 2 slot has 4 bonus features. Birds collect amber fossils and feature symbols which trigger various modifiers when you collect enough of them. They include upgrades, coin prizes, wilds, an expanded grid size and symbol transformations. In the free spins, your grid size and level of amber fossil payouts are persistent throughout the feature.
Symbol Collection feature
As per the CollectR mechanic, bird symbols move and collect feature symbols and amber fossils of the same colour. If enough symbols are collected, 1 pending feature symbol release is added. Up to 3 feature symbol releases can be stacked simultaneously with all stacked feature releases awarded at the same time.
Furthermore, a feature symbol release is awarded just before an egg symbol hatches, before the meteor strikes, as part of the first free spin in the main bonus feature or when birds can’t collect any more symbols. Basically, a feature symbol release converts a random number of amber fossils into random feature symbols. This is known as the Symbol Collection feature.

Pirots 2 Review Summary: ELK Studios builds on the impressive original
Hot off the heels of the Jeff & Scully slot, ELK Studios has released another grid game but this time using the CollectR mechanic. The Pirots 2 slot was released just 7 months after the original came out which is a short time frame for a sequel. They must have had valid reasons though but popularity is probably it.
This time around, the Fearful Four head to Dino World to strut their stuff. The gameplay is more or less the same but there are more feature symbols (9 vs 6). Of the new additions, the Upgrade All symbol will upgrade the payout level of all 4 amber fossil symbols (pretty straightforward).
The original Bomb feature symbol is now the Red Button symbol though. I like the Egg symbol which scares birds away from the grid. This allows them to appear in new positions which could lead to more wins. The Popcorn symbol allows birds to move across empty spaces to reach possible winning clusters.
My favourite feature symbol is the Mushroom as this transforms amber fossils next to a bird into the same colour for guaranteed wins. It can also bring about additional feature symbols if you’re lucky. Then you have the free spins where you can play on an 8×8 grid permanently as well as pending feature symbol releases on the first free spin. The real value in the free spins is triggering it when you have the amber fossil symbols at a high payout level.
With a disappointing 94% RTP rate (we have to accept it, unfortunately), the Pirots 2 slot comes with 10,000 x bet max wins. This is the same max win potential as its predecessor.
Being picky, a sequel is supposed to be bigger and better. On the gameplay front and aesthetically, ELK Studios has delivered this. The max win could have been 12,500 x bet or even 20,000 x bet to make it really stand out versus the original game.
That said, the soundtrack is superb. The gameplay won’t be to everyone’s liking but ELK Studios has again created something unique and different to what’s already available online. Hopefully, there’s a third game in the making which will offer bigger win potential and even more feature symbols.
