Mega Mystery Mine has a lot of potential. It looks fantastic, which is always a solid starting point. The gameplay is solid, but it’s not quite on the same level as the best games. Adding cascading reels to the base game would go a long way here, making it much more appealing.
It’s not to say this isn’t a fun game. I enjoyed every spin, the maximum payout is set at a decent level, and the Free Spins can be extremely fulfilling. It’s well worth trying out, and if you enjoy Megaways slots, this is a fun alternative that won’t let you down. If it added cascading reels or a slightly higher maximum payout, I’d score this higher. However, it’s still worth a very respectable 4.3/5.
