The grid is set in Mad Tinkerer’s workshop, which is surprisingly not in sight, but the bunch of hand tools and a drawing board show that he has been busy. The rather gloomy working area becomes vibrant in the bonus round, where a gigantic robot rocks in the background.
As you would expect, loud sounds of clanging heavy metals play in the background—similar to something you must have probably heard in sci-fi movies. Although it complements the theme, it didn’t grow on me; I enjoyed it better without the sounds.

I really enjoyed testing the Mad Blast slot game. Although I expected more from the visuals, considering the title and Push Gaming’s knack for stimulating designs, there was enough action on the reels to distract me.
However, this slot isn’t the most innovative release out there. The combination of cascading wins and doubling multipliers appears in Yggdrasil’s DoubleMax titles, among many others. While these features kept me on the edge of my seat during my review, it would have been awesome if the multipliers were unlimited, like in Neon Villains DoubleMax. Still, they offer the best way of hitting the 10,000x the bet potential win.
