Theme – Mind The Gap
The London Tube theme is clear from the title – it’s all about the London Underground. However, it may not come across as authentic as it could have, and I assume that’s down to licensing and copyright laws. It’s certainly a nod towards life on the London Underground, but there’s nothing to really make you think that it is apart from the look of the train itself.
The reels are set on a train platform, with a tube train in the background. However, it looks more like an American subway to me than a London Underground station. The graffiti and the style used for the characters give off a younger vibe, and I think the same goes for the soundtrack, which is very indie and rock-like. I must admit that the Britishness (is that a word?) of it all got me thinking of the magnificent Punk Rocker slot from Nolimit City. If you want something more British, play that.
On the reels, the A-10 Royals with the British flag in the corner of each symbol make up the lower-paying symbols. The higher-paying ones depict the kind of characters you might see on the Tube – a kid on his phone, a trendy woman with headphones in, an older lady reading a book, a man with headphones on and a policeman. The policeman is the most lucrative symbol, paying 1, 2 or 4 x your total stake for 3, 4 or 5 in combination respectively.

Train Arrival feature
This bonus feature is triggered only if at least 1 frame is present on the reels at the 10th spin. If this happens, 1 of the following features will be triggered:
- Wilds – all frames turn into Wilds. They substitute for all paying symbols and count as a symbol which forms the longest winning combination on a single win way.
- Ways Multiplier – A multiplier is randomly applied on every tile position where there is a frame present. The available multipliers are 2x, 3x, 5x, 7x or 10x.
- Cash Prize – Instant rewards can appear as a monetary value on every frame. The available stake multiplier values are 1x ,2x, 3x, 5x, 7x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x and 50x.
Free Spins Feature
This bonus feature is triggered by landing 3 or more Train Scatters on the reels. 3, 4 or 5 Scatters will award 9, 12 or 15 free spins respectively. As the bonus round begins, 3 Golden frames will always be present on the reels, but they can change position on each spin. Wilds, Multipliers and Cash Prizes can be triggered at random too.

London Tube Summary – doesn’t feel very British
I appreciate what Red Tiger has tried to do here with the London Tube slot game. However, they didn’t pull it off in my opinion. This is no doubt down to the fact that the provider hasn’t got the licence to add any official London Underground touches. Pragmatic Play had the same problem with Down The Rails, which was called something else and had Underground trains that looked great before they were asked to make changes before its release.
Looking at the positives, I enjoyed the 10-spin cycle that it deploys as you know that 1 of 3 exciting features will be triggered at the end of it. The Golden frames are a nice touch too, which adds a little uniqueness to the overall gameplay. But that’s as far as it goes for me. The 2,100 x max win potential is disappointing. So too is the RTP rate of 95.7%. The audio and the visuals leave a lot to be desired as well. There are certain things to enjoy here, but not enough to keep you interested for too long in my opinion.
