I didn’t exactly have a bang playing Kitty Coins. Visually, it’s decent; although it has the Asian cliche look, the kitty and the blend of classic fruits give it a fresh feel. At least, the kitty isn’t a golden carving—that’s a good thing.
Gameplay-wise, it holds up well, but it lacks originality. The base game centres on the Cash Collect mechanic, which, at this point, feels overused. If you’ve been around for a while, you’d also agree that the Hold and Win round doesn’t feel particularly fresh either.
While there are some modifiers to switch things up, they felt out of reach for most of my playtest. The main talking point is the Kitty Coins max win of 25,000x the bet. It feels achievable in the bonus round if you get on the good side of the modifiers.
