Tear Scatters
Each Phoenix has a Tear Scatter, and it can appear anywhere on the reels. Whenever it lands, it’s collected by the corresponding Phoenix, creating a random chance of triggering the Hold and Win round.
Landing all 3 Tear Scatters on a spin advances the GO Guaranteed Ladder. I’ll talk about this feature later on.
Coin Symbols
The game features Coin symbols that can only appear during the Hold’n Spin round. They reveal either instant-win prizes ranging from 1x to 9x the bet or Jackpots. The Jackpots are:
- Mini: 10x the bet
- Minor: 25x the bet
- Major: 100x the bet
- Grand: 1,000x the bet
Hold’n Spin
In the usual Pot mechanic fashion, the Phoenixes grow as they collect their matching Tear Scatter symbols. This can randomly trigger the Hold and Win round.
At the start of the bonus game, you’ll receive 3 respins, and only the cash symbols can appear on the reels. Each time at least 1 Coin lands, it resets the spin counter and remains sticky.
The round ends when you use up the awarded respins, after which all the Coins on the reels are summed up and paid.
While testing the Infernal Trinity GO Guaranteed demo, I triggered the bonus round with the blue Phoenix within my first 100 spins. However, my £18 payout wasn’t spirit-lifting. You can try your luck in the demo and also explore other free online slots in our library.
Phoenix Features
Collecting a random number of Tear Scatter symbols triggers the corresponding Phoenix’s feature. For example, the purple Tear Scatter will trigger the purple Phoenix’s feature. If you’re lucky enough, all 3 Phoenix features can be activated on a spin.
Depending on which Phoenix triggers the Hold’n Spin round, you’ll get the following extras:
- Blue Phoenix: Expands the grid during the Hold’n Spin game from the regular 5×4 to 5×5.

Infernal Trinity GO Guaranteed Verdict: Spotlights Fiery Phoenixes, but the Gameplay Feels Quite Cold
Infernal Trinity GO Guaranteed is one of the first releases to feature the GO Guaranteed mechanic, and it earns a nod for that. However, beyond this, there’s little else to make a statement.
Infernal Trinity GO Guaranteed is average at best and won’t set the world on fire. It’s one for fans of the vanilla Pot mechanic, bringing back fond memories of Iron Dog Studios’ 3 titles, like 3 Cheeky Chimps and 3 Capybaras.
The main introduction to the usual formula is the GO Guaranteed Ladder. I like the idea. It offers a form of safety net in case of a disappointing payout in the Hold and Win round. Sadly, it’s only active when all 3 Phoenixes trigger the bonus game.
Each of the Phoenixes has its own modifier, which activates when it triggers the bonus game. My favourite is the blue Phoenix, mainly because it boosts the Coin value. Still, the gameplay feels largely stifled, particularly in the base game.
