The theme at Gold Lab™ casinos is a mad scientist one. It has very simplistic graphics, which work well for the title. Everything looks like they have come from a cartoon, and it helps to create a wacky and zany atmosphere. There isn’t a range of Gold Lab™ bonus features available. In fact, it only has one in place. It’s slightly disappointing, as it diminishes the overall experience slightly.
Golden Bonus
Each of the 4 beaker symbols has a Golden Scatter equivalent. When you manage to land 3 on the reels, it will trigger 4 respins. It turns the beaker that was present in the Golden Scatter into a wild symbol. During the feature, landing the other beaker scatters will also turn them wild and award an extra respin. The maximum you can claim is 8, and you’ll have all the beakers turned into wilds.
You can win the maximum payout during this feature, with up to 200x available on each respin, and 413x in total.
Gold Lab™ Verdict: Too Limited to be a Top Slot
The bonus feature in Gold Lab™ is a fun idea that creates a lot of fun. Unfortunately, it’s the only standout benefit to this game. While the theme is quite nice, that’s not enough to make up for the lacklustre gameplay and a small maximum win.
Firstly, 413x your stake as a maximum win is far too low. It can’t compete with other games on the market, and it makes it unappealing to lots of users. Although the respins round is exciting and enjoyable, it doesn’t add enough to the overall package. Adding a Free Spins feature with some multipliers would significantly improve Gold Lab™. Without those aspects, it’s a 2/5 slot that isn’t worth your time.
