Gates of Glory does it properly, incorporating lush gems as low-paying symbols and Viking weapons and armour as high-paying symbols. However, the true stars of the paytable are a portrait of Odin, an all-seeing eye that poses as the game’s wild, and the scatter in the form of a mysterious runic gate that possibly leads to Valhalla.

Gates of Glory Mobile Slot
I like the approach iSoftBet has taken with the Gates of Glory mobile slot. It’s almost exactly the same as the desktop version, making for a simple transition between different iterations of the game.
The spin button is easy to find, but the stake selection controls remain hidden in the menu. I didn’t notice any loss of quality in the visuals in the mobile version, and the sounds stayed superb throughout. It’s an excellent mobile casino option overall.

The moment the free spins round begins, Gates of Glory really comes to life. Whether it’s the Eye of Odin appearing to boost wins or remove low-value symbols or the cascading reels creating multiple payouts, there’s plenty going on. Landing the bonus round makes every spin during the base game worth it.
However, as I’ve mentioned before, the info on the maximum payout still isn’t available. For that reason, I can’t say for sure if this is a top-class slot. As I only managed to grab around 200x my stake as a payout, I can’t give it more than a 3.5/5. Other than that, this is a solid slot with the potential to be great.
