Theme – head deep into the Mexican jungle
The reels are set in the Aztec jungle somewhere in Mexico, with what looks like the famous temple from Chichen Itza in the background to the right and some lovely waterfalls to the left. The bold colours on the reels are fantastic, and I like the effects of the symbols when the Tumbles occur. It plays a melody when the winnings are totalled up too, which doesn’t really feel like it matches the theme, but I’m OK with it.
The main soundtrack is in keeping with the Aztec theme, with a tribal feel and the sound of traditional instruments such as clay flutes, which are a constant throughout. Land the Free spins feature and the reels move inside the temple, with the audio speeding up to add to the overall intensity as you use your free spins. Pragmatic has been guilty of adding in very basic audio in the past with some slots, but I like what they’ve done here.
