However, contrary to common belief, I noted that the wild does not roll every time it hits the reels.

You can unlock 9 free spins by landing 3 scatters on the reels. During the bonus round, wilds retain their attribute of moving on the reels, leaving behind multipliers.
Interestingly, wilds are locked in their position (sticky wilds) during free spins, and new wilds can roll over existing ones, thereby increasing their multipliers. This makes it far easier to hit substantial wins – the more wilds that hit, the bigger the payout. However, you cannot retrigger the free spins.
During my review, I unlocked the bonus round after over 90 spins and was lucky to hit it again after less than 50 spins. Indeed, it was worth the wait—I triggered a “Sensational” win on the 7th, 8th, and 9th free spins, awarding a maximum of 301.40x my stake.

The name “Fortune Hit’n Roll” struck me as yet another TV game show-themed slot, or even better, a Rock ‘n’ Roll slot like the provider’s Crank it Up. Upon launching the game, I was surprised to be taken back in time to the Ancient Mexican civilisation. Nevertheless, its visuals are appealing—I particularly like the labyrinth in the backdrop.
The Hit’n Roll bonus feature stands as the highlight of the game; it transforms the basic wild into moving wilds with increasing multipliers. However, although I am accustomed to Pragmatic Play’s limited bonus features, I was expecting more on this release. I was even more disappointed that the free spins could not be retriggered.
While the 40p minimum bet would be well-suited to high rollers, it will be unfavourable to low stakers. This is yet more of a letdown when you consider the high risk on every spin due to the very high volatility. The 5,000x max win is good enough, but it is still low when compared to the best UK online slots.
