Special features

Each time a Dynamite Wild lands, it’s collected in the Feature Unlock Progress Bar above the reels. This is made up of 4 different blocks. A modifier is unlocked after you have collected 15 Dynamite Wilds. You’ll need to 60 Dynamite Wilds to unlock all 4 modifiers.

When a modifier is unlocked, it can trigger at random on any spin. The modifier automatically triggers on the spin after it has been unlocked. Here’s what they can deliver:

• TNT feature: collect 15 Dynamite Wilds to unlock the TNT modifier. Once activated, all the lower value symbols are removed from the grid for the current spin.
• Golden Wilds feature: this unlocks with 30 Dynamite Wilds. When triggered, up to 10 wilds are added to random positions on the middle 4 reels.
• Multiplier feature: open this up with 45 Dynamite Wilds. When it triggers, a compass appears showing 2x, 3x, 5x or 10x multipliers. The multiplier is applied to your current win. If the multiplier triggers before a winning spin, the multipliers can get as high as 20x. Trigger the Gold Spins with a multiplier active and it carries over to the free spins.
• Mega Wild feature: fill the meter with 60 Golden Wilds to unlock this modifier. These are special wilds that can fill the whole of the middle 4 reels. Mega Wilds also come with multipliers of between 2x and 7x attached. These can combine to deliver even bigger rewards.

Gold Spins feature

The other main extra here is the Gold Spins feature. It’s triggered by landing 3 or more Gold Spins scatter symbols anywhere on the reels on the same spin. Dynamite Riches Megaways Review Summary – plenty of action but not very explosive

Mining for gold is a popular theme with slot providers. In regards to the Dynamite Riches Megaways slot, it’s very similar to the original Dynamite Riches just with Megaways added on it seems.

I do like the Multiplier feature where multipliers can reach 20x. The key to big wins is to trigger the Gold Spins feature with the multiplier in play. This could lead to 20x multipliers on each free spin.

The cartoon-style imagery is nicely done and the country soundtrack is a proper toe tapper. However, it feels like Red Tiger Gaming is creating Megaways version of all their popular slots for the sake of it. There’s nothing unique or appealing in this game in my opinion.

There are other mining themed slots that offer a lot more. My personal favourites are Nolimit City’s Fire in the Hole (60,000 x stake max wins) and Playtech’s Hot Gems Xtreme (10,000 x stake wins).
