Deadwood R.I.P Slot RTP, Details and Wager Limits
The base action in Deadwood R.I.P plays out on a 5-reel machine that offers 384 ways to win. Create winning combinations by landing 3, 4 or 5 matching symbols or wilds on adjoining reels, starting from the leftmost reel.
You can join this outlaw gang at bet levels ranging between 10p and £100 per spin. To adjust your stake, click on the coins icon, then choose one of the stake levels shown.
In some territories, but not at the UK slot sites, players can set up to 1,000 autoplay spins and activate quick spin mode.
In most cases, the Deadwood R.I.P RTP is 96.09%, which is just above average. There are also versions with 94.04%, 92.03% and 87.05%. Have a look in the paytable to confirm which version you’re playing.
As we’ve come to expect from a release from Nolimit City, Deadwood R.I.P doesn’t mess around regarding variance. This extremely volatile slot comes in at 10/10 on the volatility scale.
The game has a massive maximum win of 100,000 x stake. This drops, on average, once every 150 million spins. A win of 100 x stake lands once every 790 spins on average.
Theme: Another Blood-Splattered Wild West Adventure
Like the other online slots featuring this outlaw gang, there’s a very gritty, hard-nosed feel to the design in Deadwood R.I.P. The sepia-tinged reels are set within a wooden frame, and you’ll see gallows and a noose in the background. Jolly, eh!
The reels are made up of lower value A to 10 symbols, two unfortunate captured outlaws with a noose around their necks and the bandits Skinny Joe, Edda Star and El Gordo (fatty). El Gordo tops the payouts, awarding 3.5 x stake if you land 5 in combination.
There are also wild symbols that can land on the middle 3 reels and a host of other symbols that can trigger a feature or a modifier. I’ll look at these more closely in the bonuses section below.
Complementing the comic book-style imagery is an atmospheric soundtrack with just a hint of the Wild West. You’ll hear plenty of gunshots and flesh-slicing knives. Subtle it most certainly is not, but it certainly delivers a punch to the senses.
Here’s how the paytable shapes up:
| Symbol | Payouts/Info |

J | 3, 4 or 5 = 0.1, 0.2 or 1 x stake |
Q | 3, 4 or 5 = 0.1, 0.2 or 1 x stake |
K | 3, 4 or 5 = 0.2, 0.4 or 1.2 x stake |
A | 3, 4 or 5 = 0.2, 0.4 or 1.2 x stake |
Busted Outlaw 1 | 3, 4 or 5 = 0.3, 0.5 or 1.5 x stake |
Busted Outlaw 2 | 3, 4 or 5 = 0.3, 0.5 or 2 x stake |
Skinny Joe | 3, 4 or 5 = 0.4, 0.6 or 2.5 x stake |
Edda Star | 3, 4 or 5 = 0.4, 0.6 or 3 x stake |
El Gordo | 3, 4 or 5 = 0.5, 0.7 or 3.5 x stake |
Deadwood R.I.P Mobile
Deadwood R.I.P has been fully optimized for play on tablets and smartphones as well as desktop and laptop computers. The game plays just fine at mobile casinos, but for the full Nolimit City effect, you really want to rake this for a spin on a device with a decent-sized screen and speakers to match.
Deadwood R.I.P Bonus Features
Blood-curdling imagery isn’t the only thing that Deadwood R.I.P has in common with its predecessor, Tombstone RIP. Both slots are absolutely jam-packed with extras which can deliver nudges, wilds, multipliers and much else besides, which puts them among the best slots out there. The xRIP means that any win totalling less than 1 x stake isn’t paid out, though.
xNudge Wilds
These special wild symbols can land on reels 2, 3 and 4 only. When they hit, they nudge to fill the whole of that reel. Each nudge increases the value of a multiplier by 1x. Land more than one xNudge wild on the same base game spin, and the multipliers are added together. In the free spins, they are multiplied to deliver an even bigger payout boost.
xSplit Wilds
These become active when you land 2 Diamondback scatters. The wild, plus any other symbols on that reel, split in two. This doubles the number of symbols and increases the number of ways you can form a winning combination. The Reel Split Wild can only trigger on the middle 3 reels.
Keep a special eye out for the Hog Me Tight scatter, which can land on reel 5 only. This 2-high symbol acts as a wild and also splits the symbols to its left. On reel 1, the symbol in the middle row is split. On reels 2 through 4, the symbols in the middle 2 rows are split.
If you’re lucky enough to split an xNudge wild, the splits also increase the value of its multiplier.
Quick Draw
Trigger this by landing the revolver symbol on reel 1. Between 3 and 6 shots are fired at the reels. If a multiplier is hit, the value of that multiplier doubles.
Shootout
Land the sheriff badge symbol on reels 2 and 4 on the same spin to activate the Shootout. Any lower value symbol on the middle 3 reels turns wild.
Redemption Spins
Land 3 Diamondback scatters on the same spin to trigger the Redemption Spins Bonus. Your reward is 5 free spins. xNudge wilds increase the multiplier when they land and remain active throughout the round. Land a Hog Me Tight scatter on reel 5, and you’ll get 1 free spin in the enhanced Salvation Spins. Land 3 RIP symbols for a re-trigger and another round of 5 free spins.
Salvation Spins
Trigger the second free spin bonus by landing 3 Diamondback scatters plus a Hog Me Tight scatter on the same spin. This time, 6 free spins are on offer. Just like the Redemption Spins, the xNudge wilds increase multipliers and stay in play for the duration of the free games and rise if more xNudge wilds appear.
Look out for the Hog Me Tight scatter on reel 5 which turns wild and splits symbols on the middle row on each spin. Three RIP scatters deliver a re-trigger and 6 more Salvation Spins. On average, triggering either free spin round takes 243 spins.
No Limit Booster (Not available in the UK)
xBet – Increase the size of your stake from 1x to 2.5x per spin to activate the xBet. This extra investment adds a scatter to reel 2 and doubles your chances of triggering the free spins. The RTP also increases slightly to 96.13%. The free spins trigger once every 119 spins with the xBet active.
Double xBet – Boost your chances of triggering the free spins by 10 by activating the Double xBet, which guarantees scatters on reels 2 and 3. It’s not cheap mind, costing 15 x stake per spin. The RTP with the Double xBet active is 96.18%.
Bonus Buy (Not available in the UK)
If you’re in a territory where it’s allowed, you can pay to buy a feature directly. There are 4 options available.
- Redemption Spins – Cost = 80 x stake
- Salvation Spins – Cost = 1,500 x stake
- Lucky Draw – Cost = 364 x stake – (80% chance of Redemption Spins / 20% Chance of Salvation Spins) – RTP
- Lucky Draw Deluxe – Cost = 790 x stake (50/50 chance of landing Redemption or Salvation Spins)
Deadwood R.I.P Verdict: Bloody Amazing Graphics and a Bunch of Fantastic Features
Blood-curdling imagery, a huge range of extras, and extreme volatility have been No Limit City’s calling card for their Wild West-themed slots. They’ve hit the bullseye once again with Deadwood RIP. Visually, it’s superb, and it comes with gameplay to match. The features are a little complicated compared to many more straightforward slots, so this is a game where it really pays to try out in demo mode first.
The nudges, wilds and multipliers deliver plenty of action in the base game, but they can really come into their own during the free spin rounds. Get on a good run with those nudges, and the multipliers can quickly build.
I enjoyed the Quick Draw and Shoot Out features, too. I found both quite tricky to come by, but they delivered a decent punch on the occasions they did hit.
Cuddly cartoon cowboys these most certainly are not. The rugged theme might be a bit too much for some tastes. If you like your trips to the wild American frontier to come with some true grit, I recommend a visit to Deadwood R.I.P.
