Bee Keeper Slot RTP, Details & Wager Limits
Initially, I thought the Bee Keeper slot had a unique set of reels. However, it was soon obvious that it’s just a skewed 5×3 grid. It’s the same as what most online slots offer, and comes with a below-average number of paylines—only 10. You need at least 3 symbols (just 2 for the beehive) to create a win, which is how most new slots work.
The minimum available stake in the Bee Keeper slot game is quite low. You can start with just 5p per spin, which is one of the best options for budget-conscious players I’ve seen lately. This game also tries to appease high rollers, with a £250 maximum stake, and sets itself as one of the best online slots for stake ranges.
All game controls are in the bottom right, and you can set an autoplay with multiple turbo spin levels. You can’t use autoplay or turbo spin if you’re at a UK online casino, though.
The Bee Keeper RTP at 96.53% doesn’t exactly put the game among the best RTP slots available, but it’s above average. Unfortunately, there are other RTP variants (95.53% and 94.53%), meaning it’s essential to check slot sites to get the best rate. The volatility is high, which frustrated me while putting together my Bee Keeper review. I don’t think this game should have such high volatility due to its low payout potential.

Bee Keeper Theme—A Fun Theme With Entertaining Aesthetics
Design is the one thing Pragmatic Play has done really well in Bee Keeper. The visuals look fantastic and all link to the theme of bees. I also like how they’ve laid out the reels, even if it did trick me initially. The cartoon style is pervasive, which matches what I expected and what many animal-themed slots go for. Furthermore, realistic bee images could have potentially scared off some of the players.
The sounds are a delight. There’s an upbeat theme that plays throughout the game, and it really cheers you up. You’ll instantly be in a better mood when you hear it playing at Bee Keeper casinos. The effects are decent, too, but they’re not on par with the main music track. Overall, the realisation of the theme is very good. I just wish the rest of the game lived up to that standard.

The Bee Keeper mobile slot is a good conversion. Like most modern mobile games, it uses HTML5 as the development environment. Therefore, it’s well-optimised and provides smooth gameplay. The controls use the same type of layout, making the switch from desktop seamless.
The landscape version is the superior option, as the reels look less squashed in that orientation. The portrait edition is a playable mobile casino game, but the controls are slightly awkward on smaller devices.

The Bee Keeper bonus features are almost exclusively those that we’ve seen in the Big Bass series. If you’ve played a game from that line-up before, there’s nothing here that will surprise you.
Free Spins
When you land 3, 4, or 5 scatters, you get 10, 15, or 20 free spins. During this feature, the scatters are removed from the reels, making it easier to create wins. Additionally, there’s a wild symbol that only appears during this round. It can help to create wins with standard symbols and collect the money values that appear on the honey pot symbols.
The money symbols do appear in the base game, but they can’t be collected until the Free Spin feature. You can get a 2, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 50, or 2,000x the stake win on a money symbol.
The bee wild also gets collected by large honey pots that are underneath the reels. Every 4 wilds you collect lights up a honey pot. It all works the same as in the Big Bass Free Spins feature, giving you extra spins and increasing the multiplier for money collection. The honey pots give you the following bonuses when they light up:

Bee Keeper Verdict: A Lacklustre Big Bass Clone
I’m hugely disappointed with the Bee Keeper slot. When I saw the reel layout, I thought it was going to be something new. Then, as it dawned on me that it was just a Big Bass clone, I lost all enthusiasm for it.
The maximum win is way too low, and I think the multipliers in the Free Spins round are pointless. The top payout is 2,100x your stake, so what’s the point of a 20x multiplier for a 2,000x money symbol? Pragmatic Play is capable of so much better, so stick to the best of what they have to offer and avoid Bee Keeper.
