Ashoka Eternal Slot RTP, Details & Wager Limits
Ashoka Eternal uses a 5-reel, 7-row machine. You’ll notice that some of the positions at the start of each spin are filled with blockers. Create winning combinations by landing clusters of 5 or more symbols. These symbols and adjoining blockers are blasted from the reels and new symbols drop in and replace them. If a new cluster forms, the process is repeated. The avalanches continue until there’s one with no new winner on display. If you manage to clear all the blockers, extra reels and rows open up. Fully expanded, the game engine is made up of 7 reels with 9 symbols in each of them.
Bet levels here start at 10p but can get as high as £100 per spin. Click on the coins tab then choose a level you’re comfortable with. The autoplay function is available in some jurisdictions (but not in the United Kingdom). This allows you to set up to 100 auto spins.
As usual for an ELK slot, the Ashoka Eternal RTP is a rather disappointing 94%. The volatility is a high 8 out of 10 and the maximum win is an impressive 25,000 x stake. The hit rate of 25% means that a winning combination lands on a quarter of spins on average.
Theme: head to a beautiful, tranquil, temple garden
Terra cotta masonry dominates the colour palette in Ashoka Eternal which is very stylishly put together. The temple gardens are the setting here. A beautiful pond filled with lily pads sits at the bottom of the reels, which are flanked by gently flowing water features.
Symbols include 4 lower-value flower-style motifs on stone blocks which appear alongside blue, green and red gemstones and a mighty white tiger. There’s also a wild and a re-drop symbol which does exactly what is says on the tin. The skull is the bonus scatter while the skull encrusted with a gem is the super bonus scatter.
To the side of the reels are a pair of wheels. One can unlock the free spins, while the other can deliver multipliers.
Accompanying the visuals is a rhythmical soundtrack which has a hint of Asia about it. It complements the historical visuals rather nicely and delivers just the right level of atmosphere. If it’s a bit too much, head to the settings and you can play with just the game noises active if you prefer.

Ashoka Eternal Mobile
You can play Ashoka Eternal on all devices including mobiles and tablets. The visuals in the small screen versions are delightfully done, just like the desktop version. For the full effect, I preferred playing the game on a larger screen with a decent set of speakers. But it still looks great on smaller devices at your chosen mobile casino in the UK.
Ashoka Eternal Bonus Features
Ashoka Eternal isn’t just easy on the senses. There’s some solid gameplay to go with the good looks including wilds extras, big symbols, multipliers and free spins.
Big Symbols
As well as standard singles, symbols can also appear as 2×2 or 3×3 big symbols which makes it that much easier to land a winning cluster.
Multiplier Wheel
The Multiplier Wheel is made up of 12 positions and becomes active when one of the turquoise orbs appears in the top position of the wheel. Look out for numbers on the game grid, these are collected as positions are unlocked and can boost the value of the multiplier. During a set of symbol drops, the wheel shifts one position to the left.
Redrop feature
When the Re-drop symbol lands, one of the standard symbols is randomly chosen. All examples of this symbol on the game gridlock and a re-drop follows, offering a chance to land expanded clusters and more potential avalanches.
Big and Charged Wilds
Like the standard symbols, wilds can land as 2×2 and 3×3 big symbols. Wilds can also be charged. When this happens, they lock in position for up to 3 wins.
Free Drops feature
Bonus symbols become active when next to a symbol in a winning cluster. Collect 3 bonus symbols on the same spin or the same set of avalanches to activate the Bonus Game. Your reward is 8 free games. If you have any Charged Wilds active from the triggering spin, they’re carried over to the free games. The big plus in the Bonus Game is that multipliers don’t reset following a winless avalanche, they can increase further throughout the round. Each active bonus symbol adds 2 more free games to your total.
X-iter feature
If it’s allowed where you’re playing, there are opportunities to buy a bonus. There are 5 picks to choose from.
| Mode | Cost | Description |
| Bonus Hunt | 3 x bet | More than triple the chance of triggering the bonus game. |
| Charged Wilds | 10 x bet | Any Wilds that land become Charged Wilds. |
| Super Multiplier Wheel | 25 x bet | doubles the chance of activating the Multiplier Wheel. |
| Bonus Game | 100 x bet | Entry to Free Drops feature. |
| Super Bonus Game | 500 x bet | Entry to Super Free Drops feature. |
Ashoka Eternal Verdict: a good slot but it’s not an upgrade on the original
With its combination of classy design and varied gameplay, ELK Studios has come up with a winning slot in Ashoka Eternal. The sound and visuals here are terrific and it’s backed up by a solid collection of features.
The avalanche wins and cluster pays keep the pace high. I found the multipliers tricky to get going in the base game, but they can start to motor during the bonus round. Those free games are tricky to land but they can be worth the wait.
The main gripe I have here is the low RTP of 94%. That aside, there’s a lot to enjoy in Ashoka Eternal.
