Army of Ares™ Mobile Slot
The Army of Ares™ mobile slot is a well-laid-out game. It retains all of the graphical qualities of the desktop game and doesn’t ruin it by squashing anything down. The controls are in the same position, so it’s straightforward to switch between platforms.
It works slightly better in landscape mode, as the reels aren’t quite a square. However, portrait mode is fine to play, and you still get a good mobile casino experience.

Wrath Scatter
Landing a Wrath Scatter on the reels will trigger the Wrath Reels. It fills that reel with a new wild symbol that has a multiplier of up to 300x attached. It will then add up to 5 wilds elsewhere on the reels. If you land multiple Wrath Scatters, there can be more than one wild reel, and all multipliers are additive.
Fear and Flame Free Spins
Landing at least 3 scatters on the reels awards the Fear and Flame Free Spins. You get 10 spins, and the round works just like the base game. However, any wilds added by the Wrath Scatter will also have their own multipliers of up to 100x attached.
Wrath and Ruin
If you land 4 scatters, it triggers the Wrath and Ruin feature. It’s a respin feature, but doesn’t use Hold & Win mechanics. Instead, multipliers are above each reel that start at 1x. You start with 3 spins, and whenever you land a new symbol on the reels, it will activate and then reset your lives.
The round continues until you run out of lives or hit the maximum win. The following symbols can land on the reels:
- Standard Green Disc: Adds up to 100x to the multiplier on the reel it lands on
- Epic Green Disc: Adds up to 100x to all multipliers
- Standard Red Disc: Multiplies the multiplier on that reel by up to 10x
- Epic Red Disc: Multiplies all multipliers by up to 10x
- Battle Horse: Marks the reel, and at the end of the round, multiplies that multiplier by up to 50x
Ares Ascends
If you land 5 scatters, it awards the Ares Ascends feature. It’s the same as Wrath and Ruin, but you begin the round with a Battle Horse and all other spaces with Red Discs.

There’s quite a bit to like about Army of Ares™. The bonus rounds are a lot of fun, with plenty of variation on offer. The maximum win is a decent level, with 15,000x your stake above the average for the market.
In fact, the only real downside is the 14 paylines. It’s not a lot, and it can make it feel more volatile when you play. It’s still an enjoyable game, but it would be even more fun if it had more paylines. Army of Ares™ is worth playing, and the features offer enough to make you overlook the downsides.
