3 In-Reel features in the Base Game

In terms of the in-reel features, there are 3 which can trigger on any base game spin randomly. Firstly, you have the Jungle Friends feature where Ace summons his jungle friends on any spin to give you extra wild symbols. Then there is the Sneaky Walk feature where Ace sneaks across the reels on any spin to give you wild stacks.

Finally, there’s the Loser feature where Ace triggers a free re-spin with a 2x multiplier. If you have no wins, another free re-spin is awarded with the win multiplier increasing between +1 and +3. This continues until you get a winning spin.

Free Games feature & Animal Modifiers

The main attraction is the Free Games feature which is played when you get the Rhino Bonus symbol simultaneously on reels 1, 3 and 5 – you will then be rewarded with 7 free spins and Animal Modifiers. • Pink Elephant Animal Modifier – this expands the number of paylines to give you 1,024 ways to win (basically an additional row of symbols).
• Green Gorilla Animal Modifier – this upgrades symbols in the feature with a random symbol chosen to be upgraded. When this symbol lands during the feature, it transforms to the top paying symbol for bigger wins.
• Yellow Bat Animal Modifier – this places wild symbols in random positions on the reels after every free spin.

The Ace Ventura Pet Detective slot game is highly entertaining – there’s less film-related activity on the reels which I thought but this is a blessing in disguise I feel. The bonus features can be rewarding – I won over 100 times my stake with the Jungle Friends feature as Ace summoned 6 extra wilds!

The Free Games feature is definitely where the bigger wins will come from – especially if you manage to combine the Red Shark, Blue Dolphin and Yellow Bat Animal Modifiers.
