The grid is set on a dusty street with stacks of hay, wooden buildings, and cacti. A subtle addition that caught my eye is the steaming cup of coffee placed beside the grid.
What’s more, a tune of strings and horns plays as you spin the reels, complementing the Western adventure. It does get repetitive at some point, though.

One of the drawbacks I noticed while playing the 3 Bandits slot on mobile casinos is that it doesn’t support landscape mode. It’s quite disappointing, particularly when compared to some of the best online slots around. While the portrait mode runs smoothly without causing stutters, you won’t get the same broad view of the scenery.

You’ll find the Bandit Meter above the reels. During the base game, the meter progresses by one position whenever a Bandit symbol lands, unlocking new levels. The good news is that the meter never resets, even after all the levels are unlocked.
Here’s a breakdown of how you can activate each level:
- Collect Bandit: It automatically unlocks at the start of the game. Here, only the Collect Bandit can land, and it’s restricted to the last reel
- Double Chance: It activates when you land 2 Collect Bandit symbols. In this level, the Collect Bandit can appear on reels 1 and 5
- Boost Bandit: It activates by landing 3 Collect Bandit symbols in the Double Chance level, unlocking the Boost Bandit symbol
- Multiply Bandit and Scatter: It activates by landing any 4 Bandit symbols in the Boost Bandit level, unlocking both the Multiply Bandit and Scatter symbols
Bonus Spins
The scatter symbol can only appear on the reels after unlocking all levels on the Bandit Meter. Much like many regular casino online slots, landing 3 scatters triggers the bonus round, and you are awarded 10 free spins.
Any Coin Collect Bandit symbol that lands is collected in the progress meter. Every third symbol collected awards 5 extra spins. At the same time, the win multiplier increases to 2x, then 3x, 5x, and finally 10x after you collect 3 additional Bandit symbols.

3 Bandits Verdict: A Slow Burner Gameplay With Rewarding Modifiers
3 Bandits is a slow-burner with little thrill, which may not appeal to players seeking fast-paced excitement.
The 3 Bandits slot didn’t quite impress me. While Fantasma clearly attempts to introduce a new twist to the familiar Cash Collect feature, it doesn’t bring in fresh excitement. Visually, I wasn’t thrilled either. With the title, I expected a heist or something dramatic in the Wild West, but it felt rather subdued.
Each Bandit has a distinct modifier, but you’ll need to unlock them first, except the Collect Bandit, which is activated from the start. This mechanic can either build anticipation or slow the game’s momentum. Sadly, it was the latter for me.
I had to wait well over 200 spins to unlock the scatter symbol, and even then, wait some more to trigger the bonus round. However, it gets only better if you’re patient enough, as the unlocked modifiers never reset.
