Day turns to night when the Free Spins feature is triggered, and not much else changes visually. The graphics look OK, but it’s all fairly basic in truth, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. The grid is set inside a small van too, which is an odd choice.
In terms of the soundtrack, it’s quite easy on the ears as you spin away. Land a winner and things intensify slightly to add to the overall appeal. Still, I wasn’t a fan overall but that’s just my personal taste. Land the Free Spins feature and the audio turns almost dance or pop-like, which is an improvement on the base game in my opinion. But again, it’s all fairly basic.

101 Candies Review Summary: fill up the coin jar with some sweet wins
The 101 Candies slot reminded me of NetEnt’s Cupcakes slot which was released back in December 2022. Similar symbols and sweet-related with tons of multipliers. The max win potential here is better, which is good to see. Not much better but it’s still an improvement. But is the slot an overall improvement on what we’ve seen in the past? Not really. Everything is a bit slow for my liking and there isn’t anything I’ve not seen before.
The positives? I liked the way the Wild Conveyor mechanic worked. Landing those 101x multipliers on the reels gave you a sense of something big incoming, although I experienced a lot of wins on the lower end of the scale even with the huge multipliers, so I wouldn’t get too excited by those. It’s a nice feature though. But this would certainly suit you if you’re one who enjoys slots that aren’t so volatile.
But overall, while it looks nice, there are so many better options out there to satisfy your sweet tooth, which is why the 101 Candies slot gets a pretty average rating from me.
