Every time you land an Oil Lamp symbol, it adds oil to the meter at the top of the reels. The meters unlock features when they become full. Features will continue to trigger randomly on any future spins, and more than 1 feature may trigger in the same spin if more than 1 is unlocked. Here’s a rundown of what you can unlock:

• Imperial Spin feature – 6 oil lamps will unlock this feature. All lower-value symbols are then removed from the reels for the next spin.
• Random Wilds feature – 7 more oil lamps will unlock this feature. Up to 10 Random Wilds are added to random positions on the middle 4 reels.
• Multi-Pick feature – 8 further oil lamps will unlock this one. Choose a card which will reveal an active multiplier for the next win of 3x, 5x or 8x.
• Mega Wilds feature – Collect 9 more lamps, so 30 in total, to unlock this feature. Up to 4 1×4 Mega Wilds are activated and can appear on the middle 4 reels.

10,001 Nights Megaways Review Summary – better than the original

Whenever you have a new game that’s meant to be an upgrade on the original, it’s not always the case that it’s better. But I’m happy to say that 10,001 Nights Megaways is an improvement from its predecessor.

Although the bonus features are the same, there are plenty of improvements such as the overall visuals, and the inclusion of a 20x Global Multiplier in the Destiny Spins feature. Players who prefer larger stakes might not fancy this one with max bets of £8, but the bonus features may well tempt them as there is a lot of fun parts to this game.

Overall, it’s a solid release from Red Tiger, and I’m looking forward to what else they produce in the near future from a Megaways perspective.
