The Age of the Gods: King of Olympus Megaways slot looks like the original game with the same graphics, soundtrack and symbols. However, Playtech have made changes to the bonus features in particular.

Unlike most Megaways slot games, collapses or cascades see the win multiplier increase by 1 up to 20x in the base game. This is a nice twist of the classic cascade feature.

In the Mega Zeus Free Games feature, you’ll play with an expanded Zeus Wild on each free spin. With the win multiplier increasing up to 20x, the multiplier value can only increase. Furthermore, lots of retriggers are available as it’s possible to play 500 free spins. This doesn’t include collapses.

Overall, the Age of the Gods: King of Olympus Megaways slot offers less than the original game. The non-Megaways version offers 18,000 x bet max wins as opposed to 5,295 x bet here. You can also randomly win 4 progressive jackpots on each spin.

It remains to be seen whether Playtech will offer Megaways versions of popular Age of the Gods slots. The original Age of the Gods game is still the best in my opinion with 4 free spins features, 50,000 x bet max wins and 4 jackpots.
