Aesthetically, Solar Queen is rather nice – set a night-time, you head to ancient Egypt (yes, again!) where you’ll see the pyramids in the backdrop. With an air of mystery about it, you’ll see A, K, Q, J and 10 card suits on the reels – there’s also various animal gods, Bastet, Anubis and the Solar Queen herself. She can appear stacked and is the most rewarding symbol with 0.1, 1, 2.5 or 10 times your stake for 2, 3, 4 or 5 in combination. There’s also a wild that pays as the Solar Queen and replaces all symbols bar the scatter.
Solar Queen comes with a Flaming Frames feature – this is active during the base game and consist of 10 spins cycles. Every sun symbol landing on the reel will activate a Flaming Frame. On the 10th spin, all Flaming Frames transform into wilds. If you get plenty of sun symbols, it can lead to big wins. Furthermore, the multiplier increases by 1 every time the sun symbol lands in an existing Flaming Frame.
There’s also a Free Spins feature which is played when you get 3 scatters on reels 1, 3 and 5 simultaneously – you will get 10 free spins. When the sun symbol lands during the free spins, they instantly transform into wilds. These wilds then stick in position for the duration of the feature. If you had a multiplier from the Flaming Frames feature, this will be carried through to the free spins too.
