The Legion X slot has a Roman Empire theme and is based on the legion of the Imperial Roman Army. There were the terrestrial armed forces of the Roman Empire from 30BC to 476AD in case your were wondering. Specifically, it’s based on the Legio X Gemina legion which was 1 of the 4 legions used by Julius Caesar. Graphically, the game is intense with a soundtrack worthy of a blockbuster Hollywood movie.

With legendary warriors at battle forming the backdrop to the game, the reels are set within a flaming wooden structure. Above the reels you will see SPQR (Senātus Populusque Rōmānus) which is the emblematic abbreviated phrase referring to the government of the ancient Roman Republic. Symbols on the reels include Roman style A, K, Q, J and 10 royals which appear on shields. There are then 5 barbarian warrior symbols which all look quite intimidating. xNudge Wilds feature

There are 3 xNudge Wilds to benefit from. A stacked wild will always nudge to appear fully visible and increase the multiplier by 1 for each nudge. This is known as the xNudge feature. When part of the wild lands on the reels, it nudges up or down until fully visible basically.

Infectious Wild feature

The Infectious Wild can land on reels 1 and 5. Land an Infectious Wild symbol triggers the Infectious Wild feature. If you land 2 Infectious Wilds, all low value symbols convert into wilds (on the 3 central reels).

xWays feature

The xWays symbol can land on reels 1 and 5. Known as the xWays feature, they transform into any other symbol except the wild or bonus symbol. Basically, the xWays symbol reveals 2-4 symbols of the same type to increase the number of ways to win.

If you land 2 xWays symbols, you will trigger Infectious xWays. Symbols on the middle reels that are the same type will also expand to the same size. This increases the number of ways to win even further.

The Legion X slot is another superb production from market-leader Nolimit City. Graphically, it’s brilliant with an intense soundtrack and rather intimidating looking warrior symbols. Every time you land a decent win, you will hear cries which are reminiscent of the Gladiator film.

As with other Nolimit City games to use the various mechanics, a few hundred spins in demo mode is recommended. xNudge Wilds give you fully wild reels with an increase of the multiplier. This happens every 4 spins on average. Infectious Wilds transform low value symbols into wilds and will land every 11 spins on average.

You then have xWays which increase the number of ways to win, up to 72,000. xWays symbols land every 11 spins too (on average). The xWays symbol has the most potential for big payouts. If you land xWays and Infectious Wild symbols on reels 1 and/or 5, all low value symbols on the middle reels become wilds.
