If you triggered the feature with Wild symbols on the reels, they are carried over into the feature and will become sticky. When the Hammer of Thor Scatter symbol lands, it forges the reel it landed on into a Storm Reel that remains in play until the end of the feature. Basically, Storm Reels are fully wild reels and substitutes for all paying symbols.

With a multitude of Norse mythology themed games to choose from, Hacksaw Gaming has had to pull out all the stops to make the Stormforged slot appealing. Visually, they’ve successfully managed this as the graphics and animations are top quality. The rather generic soundtrack and bleep noises are not the best though in my opinion.

In terms of the gameplay, the key are the Hand of Surtur scatters. They will see portals act as wilds which in turn applies a multiplier up to 200x to wins. Multiple multipliers can lead to bigger payouts. If the Hand of Surtur scatter rips through a Treasure Chest symbol, a prize up to 2,500 x bet can be won. If you mange to rip through a Treasure Chest and wild, the multiplier will be applied to the cash prize.
