Launching the Hidden demo, I could easily tell it isn’t your everyday Egyptian slot with a mystical tone and cliche ancient elements. Credit to ELK Studios for the archaeological backstory, backed by sharp visuals—it’s hard to believe it was released back in 2017.

However, the game’s appeal doesn’t quite extend beyond its skin. The gameplay feels dull for the most part, offering only 2 features. Don’t get me wrong, the respins with sticky wilds and free spins with expanding symbols are worth chasing, but we’ve seen this same combination countless times.

Besides, the potential win is just 2,150x the bet; it might struggle to attract more modern players. While I’m typically critical of slots with low potential payout, I can’t be too harsh, given that it was first released almost a decade ago.
