With the heist theme, Stakelogic finds a way to stand out without straying too far away from the usual concept. This time, we won’t be taking hostages and blasting the safe. Instead, we team up with a jolly jester in an attempt to charm our way into a haul of loot.

The grid is set against a stuffy-looking bank. The old building has been given a bit of a blingy overhaul, though: observe the golden-crowned and bejewelled statues. The bank is located in a busy city, and we can see skyscrapers in the background.

The funky audio is engaging; it sounds like something from a TV show. You’ll also catch the whirring sounds of an ATM dispensing cash in the undertone.

Mystery Symbols

Mystery symbols are collected on the left side of the grid, and they can only land on reel one. If a mystery symbol – denoted by a golden question mark – appears, the corresponding container lights up, and the symbol will be saved. Collecting three mystery symbols triggers a Mystery Symbol Bonus of a randomly chosen number of coins. I landed 1,000 the first time, and later Mystery Bonuses were in the middle hundreds.

Crazy Wild Game

Crazy Wild symbols—denoted by a treasure chest—are collected on the right side of the grid, and they can only appear on reel five. Collecting three Crazy Wild symbols triggers the Crazy Wild Game. The bonus round starts with ten free spins, and Wilds randomly generate on every spin to help create winning combinations.

Bomb Symbols

Landing a Bomb symbol on a row with a lit Mystery or Crazy Wild container will cause the symbol to explode. Since the symbol is lost, the container’s light goes off. Bomb symbols can only appear on reels one and five.

Bank or Prank is a solid enough slot, combining good design with a couple of decent features. However, it doesn’t offer promising rewards.

As you’d expect from a slot called Bank or Prank, there’s a bit of an anarchic feel about the design of this game. However, it is not a gun-blazing heist like Viper Heist City. This one takes a cheeky approach with a jester as its central figure. 

Gameplay-wise, it doesn’t stack up well against many top titles. But it is quite decent for a game released in 2017. It features a Mystery symbol bonus, which awards an instant prize. I triggered this three times, with mixed results. When the bomb symbol doesn’t get in the way, it adds a nice suspense to spins.

I entered the free spins round regularly, but it would have been exciting if it offered more than Wilds. Players might not find the top reward of 1,822.5x tempting enough to join this heist.
