Williams Interactive/WMS have rolled out their first Monopoly-themed slot game in the form of Super Monopoly Money – is it any better than the former IGT ones? Find out below.
Scientific Games won the right’s to Hasbro’s Monopoly license and will be the only software provider to offer Monopoly-themed games online. As a result, Barcrest released Monopoly Big Event a few weeks ago (Barcrest and are owned and operated by Scientific Games).
Although a little disappointing, they have released Super Monopoly Money under the WMS/Williams Interactive brand. This is only the beginning though with more Monopoly-themed games coming soon – they have Monopoly Roulette Hot Properties launching soon (probably in July).
Super Monopoly Money is a good slot game in my opinion which superb graphics, lots of bonus features and a jazz-inspired soundtrack which captures the essence of the original board game. With 5 reels and 25 paylines, you can play from only 35p a spin.
This game is all about Monopoly Money – look out for the symbol on reel 5 which expands to create a wild reel and add a cash amount to the Monopoly Money feature. You can play this when you like where you are taken to the Wheel Bonus feature – up to 200 times your stake can be won by spinning the wheel.
The Free Parking Bonus feature is central to the slot where you choose from 5 options so reveal Monopoly Money bonus, a wild or 3 other random symbols – the one selected will then replicate on the reels where the Free Parking symbol appears. This also applies in the Free Spins feature where you will begin with up to 15 free spins. Sound complicated? The new game is available to play at Virgin Games who offer you slots from Williams Interactive, Barcrest, Net Entertainment, IGT and many others – slots I recommend playing include Zeus by WMS, Pharaoh’s Fortune by IGT and Starburst by NetEnt. You will receive a 200% match bonus up to £200 – if you were to deposit just £100, you will get double back free (i.e. £200 free!).
