Super Heroes is loaded with lots of new bonus features – firstly though, it benefits from superb graphics and animations. With a comic book feel, the game is based on 6 super heroes that make an appearance in both the base game and Free Spins feature. Symbols on the reels are reflected by super villains though with the super heroes appearing in the Free Spins feature (described below).

Look out for the Free Spin symbol in the base game as 3 or more anywhere on the reels will trigger the Free Spins feature – 3 will give you 4 free spins, 4 gives you 5 free spins and 5 gives you 7 free spins. After each free spin, Hero Mode is activated.

2 super heroes will then help you win bigger prizes on each free spin as they can level up to give you better features. With 4 levels for each Superpower feature, your prizes/potential rewards increase. Here are the details:

Mystery Win feature – this is where the Mystery Win super hero turns each high paying symbol in dice – each dice then spins until a prize up to 50 times your stake is awarded for each high paying symbol.

Wild Reel feature – the Wild Reel super hero throws a rotating blade upwards turning all symbols on reels 1, 2, 3 and/or 4 into wilds. You get 1 wild reel for level you reach so level 4 would give you 4 wild reels!

Random Wilds feature – the Random Wilds super hero summons a meteor shower turning random symbols into wilds. You will get a minimum of 2 wilds for level 1 and 5 wilds for level 4.

Random Symbols feature – the Random Symbols super hero shoots a plasma beam into the ground changing between 2 and 5 symbols to guarantee you a win. The number of wilds depends on what level you’re on.

Multiplier feature – when your winnings are being counted, the Multiplier super hero charges a power-ball. This power-ball is then fired to the win amount with a multiplier up to 5x applied to it. The multiplier starts at 2x and goes up by 1 after each level (up to 5x for level 4).

Extra Free Spins feature – the Extra Free Spins super hero conjures up a portal which gives you up to 4 extra free spins. You will get 1 extra free spin for level 1 with 1 additional free spin each level you reach (so 4 free spins for level 4).

As you can see, Super Heroes is an exciting game with plenty of bonus features – I found it to be an immersive slot which makes you feel like you are part of the action. It’s a medium variance offering with balanced wins in both the base game and Free Spins feature.

The key to winning big is via the various super hero features with the Wild Reel feature my favourite as you could potentially get 4 wild reels on 1 free spin! I also like the Multiplier feature as it could give you a 5x multiplier on each free spin it applies to. As written above, 2 super heroes will apply for each free spin so you could benefit from 4 wild reels and up to a 5x multiplier if you’re lucky!
